Issues I've seen: Search funtion is worse. Gone are the options to search by author, title, etc. Top Ten lists gone (though the URL still works).Shout Box gone (though the URL to it still works but one cannot post messages). I would like all of the mentioned functionalities visible on the site again.
The previous skins were not broken, although by no means perfect, so why fix what wasn't broken? What's the point of this new website layout? Where is Ashukafan in all of this? They have not been seen for ages. Or have I been 'living under a rock' as is said?
P.S. Giantess World could probably do with a simple (intergrated) forum to communicate messages better,
Ah, yes, minor note. The story notes section and ending notes section are labeled in german I believe.
The site is absolutely broken for me (Chrome/Win 7). The layout doesn't load at all, and I literally cannot view stories. I'll click on them, and get a blank page. Shit is super broke over hear. I had no such issues with the old skins, and would prefer to see things reverted in the interm until new stuff can be fixed.
@TheFallenOne, it works fine for me on Chrome although I am using Win 8.1 . Your idea would be good , use the old skins until all these problems are sorted.
What happened to advanced search?
For some reason, parts of the site is german, even though I'm not in Germany! (for example: deathshinigami schrieb am January 03 2016 2:51)
also for some reason when I tried copy pasting that, it wouldn't allow the text anywhere but in the beginning so I had to type out the example manually.
When I view old skins, it's literally just a white page with links. I don't know if that's supposed to happen, and even if it is, it's kind of hard to go out of your Account Info page, as it doesnt have any clear way to get out to the main menu again without having to type the url/click the backtrack option.

I should add it'd be nice with a way to edit my comments, as I now have to double post this: It's only in the Epiphany skin that some parts are german, the blank white page Old Skins doesn't have this issue.
Like everyone else the site keep formatting to german. Major link and story titles are left alone but when we click on table of contents for info about the story and some words such as eq: GTS Story Example by Star says GTS Story Example von Star. Even on these comment boards the time for the most recent post I am reading says "Tassu schrieb am January 03 2016 2:06 PM". Hope it gets fixed soon.
The german thing is weird, I really thought someone hacked the site and turned it into this.
After a while, I got used to it, but I still miss the shoutbox, and top ten lists. The German stuff is over me becuase I can tell what it used to be in English.
Yes, the site was better before the update, but at least it's not that bad.
Also, I use this site only on mobile, and the major functions like "most recent", categories, and search stuff works for me.
Why was this update made? Everyone agrees the old site was better. Not only is the new theme broken, but it would look worse even if it actually worked. There was nothing wrong with the old site, you just made it worse.

For me everything but the dates, names and story is in German. I can barely read the comments because I don't know who is saying what, it's really confusing.
The old site was simple, and looked 1990's, but it worked. Now, simple things like the huge links at the bottom (featured stories, most recent, story of the moment) don't work and are unclickable. Some text is hard to read like the blue sign on text in the site header.
Plus, why kill shoutbox? Granted, it was very limited and quirky, but it gave authors and readers a rudimentary way to communicate outside of review comments.
I respect the desire to update the site, but I agree it feels like a step backwards. I think if you can address some of the big items (re-add shout box, show top most recent on home page, translate German to English, etc), then the new look/feel would start feeling better.
Until the shoutbox comes back, I propose we use this thread as a makeshift shoutbox, best we can do now if its discussing non-story related stuff.
Exactly: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And if you break it with the fix, bring back the old version. :)
And besides, the old design was also more beautiful, and more readable. And I grew to love it :). So yeah, this whole month has been quite a letdown for me.
I hate to say it but it seems like since the authors from the 'Titan series' left/deleted their accounts this site has been in a downward spiral ever since. I don't mean content, I mean how this site actually operates.
I guess the question everyone is not going to ask is: Who's idea was it to change the skins?
I remember the last time asukafan did something like that awhile ago it switched to some weird mobile version for phones but asukafan realized his mistake and switched it back.
Also, the German thing? What the fuck is that all about?
I was surprised when the new format came in there was no status update to cover it. Good to see its here. I just hope you guys at least have the most recent page tab as it used to be when you came to the main page, displaying the 8 most recent stories to anyone accessing it. Is the shoutbox gone for good?
