Kristen's wickedness continues to impress. Truly tragic for the citizens of Ashdown. Not going to lie I had no idea what Kristen was up to when she hung up on the phone call before she showed up to to "quarantine" them. I also thought she was going to eventually put more effort into saving them, but nope lol (no complaints from me, though!).

I do really like something about the concept of completely encasing a civilization in a glass prison made for holding food. And it's also a great way to protect them from mishaps! Speaking of food, the sacrifice parts were great (minus the part where box 3 is "spared" haha, but I'm sure their time will come). But the food part, 10/10. And the way she likes to deliberately make it a point to commit her atrocities back in the room for all to see adds another level of maliciousness. (Though there's something about the sacrifices being abducted and taken to her own personal room or the kitchen that is good too.)

Ginny getting another opportunity to be the boss is exciting. I'm often wrong with my predictions but I'm personally hoping for a Ginny-version of That Old Feeling. As in she gets to truly be her old playful self from before Janelle did her thing.

One last thing, I apologize if I've missed it somewhere but has Kristen ever got a count of the cities in Ostrov, like in the city room? If my sense of scale is right imagine it's in the realm of "too many to bother counting", but I was just curious. Thanks!!!

I think at this point Kristen has become what I hoped from the beginning... She's now addicted to consuming her "sacrifices," so I'm pretty sure that when she goes to visit Leslie, she'll bring along an extra supply of microscopic manpower and pleasure to keep her from getting bored, or maybe she'll train a team of cleaning experts that she'll give to her sister to impress her, and make them experience the same fun in dominating the micros...

Maybe a cleaning crew that Kristen trained before the trip on a pair of sweaty old sandals that had been stuck in the closet since the summer... Leslie would find herself managing a mini cleaning crew!

Ginny returning to watch over the cities is also something that makes me think we'll see some great chapters coming...

Ginny might even bring things to the cities to clean now that I think about it...

As usual, Panzer, you are a sure thing!

Great chapter, I hope to see what happens in the next ones soon!

Great chapter! All these plot developments and deepening mysteries have me very interested to learn more. I thought the book had finally been closed on Anton, his palace, and the mysteries it contains. I guess I was wrong. And that's to say nothing of that Cathedral which I hadn't even given any consideration to before. There's a lot of weirdness associated with Crest moreso than any other place. It breathes fresh life into a feeling I had the very first time I read this story way back in 2023 where my suspicion at the time was that Anton was somehow behind all of this, because he was the only one that was genuinely happy about it. But then he died and I thought that was that, but now I'm seeing there's actually more to the story when it comes to Crest and this weird cult that controls it.

The fact he went to such lengths to torture those two scientists in the worst way possible just because they tried to research some way to return everyone back to normal is really fucked up. Anton's death was too quick and easy. Its unfortunate that real villains like him and that one female mayor (I forget her name now) got such quick and easy deaths when unlike the millions of others who died in worse ways, they actually deserved it.

It wasn't entirely clear back at the time, but Werth was absolutely right to attack Crest and try to end Anton's cult. I can't help but wonder how things would have been like for the rooms in some alternate timeline where Werth had been successful in destroying Crest. It seems like Kristen's intervention preventing Crest's destruction was a real turning point leading her down this path of madness, because she herself got corrupted by Anton's rhetoric about her being a goddess and so on. It all seems to stem from him. Werth recognized what it would lead to and tried to nip that in the bud.

I can't remember the city of Ashdown ever being mentioned in any previous chapter, so the mayor's strategy of trying not to stand out seems to have paid off for them. Unfortunately, their luck ran out in this chapter due to unforeseen circumstances. Seems like each chapter there's one less city than before, and many of them go in very unique ways. Its kinda like that movie Final Destination, but instead of it being an individual person, its a whole entire city which suffers some bizarre fate.

The antibacterial spray killing them was a very predictable outcome. Kristen should have known that, and probably did, but didn't care. It would have been far better if they had taken their chances with that expired Amoxycilin instead. At worst it probably just wouldn't have worked, but that's still a better outcome than this.

I don't know what the story is with that ancient strain of bacteria they awoken from some old grave they looted, but maybe it was something that only their people are susceptible to and maybe the people in other cities wouldn't be effected by it due to genetic differences or something? They all come from different worlds/dimensions after all. But I could also see how this interaction between people from so many different worlds might have bad results like how it was for Native Americans when people from the old world came and introduced Smallpox and the like which ravaged them. Whatever that strain in Ashdown was, it came from their world so their people should have some degree of immunity to it. But everyone else in that room? Not so much. It might ravage them even worse. Or less, or not at all. I don't know. But this is why all these cities still need to have their medical affairs in order and still be producing phamaceuticals for their needs, because Kristen can't supply everything, and asking for her "help" often ends up being far worse than the problem was to begin with. The cities (and Ostrov) need to try to be as self reliant as much as they can because the less they have to depend on Kristen for the better. In the case of Medicine at least. This chapter proved that.

You know, Kristen has devolved into such an evil bitch over the course of the last, I dunno, dozen or so chapters (at least) that it completely took me by surprise that she decided to spare the survivors that still remained in that box of sacrifices. Its just assumed at this point that anyone she takes is going to end up killed by her one way or another, so her showing mercy and returning them back to the room was the last thing I expected.

It may have been the last thing they expected too. What is it going to mean for these "sacrifices" when they return to their people after they were expected to never be seen again? Especially for the ones from the cult in Crest. Are these ones that returned going to be seen as somehow favored by the goddess and be given better treatment because of that? Or will they interpret their survival as them being rejected and unworthy of the Goddess and this is somehow a bad thing? Also, ones coming back to the Cathedral are going to undermine Parker's waiting game until they are all cleared out. Obviously this is going to happen at a slower pace if some of them actually return back. But they can always be sent back right? Or would they be considered exempted?

The foreshadowing of Kristen visiting Leslie and Ginny watching over the rooms has me very excited for the next chapter. Its been a very long time since the last time Ginny got to babysit all those millions of people, but I think that one might very well have been the very best chapter in the story in my opinion. A lot of action in that chapter, due to the civil war that was going on in Ostrov back then. But that was back when both of the rooms were still (mostly) full. Now after so much destruction has taken its toll, the rooms are becoming more and more like ghost towns, and the sadder it becomes (in my opinion). That's not to say that Ginny won't have some fun (I hope), but its going to be much more solemn now due to all the deaths and destruction.

Its also always fun whenever Leslie enters the story too, but again its the same thing where the less and less tinies there are the more solemn it becomes. Not that Leslie herself cares anyway though. But that's also why she's kinda fun (in a way). But its going to be Kristen visiting Leslie as opposed to the other way around, so I don't expect Leslie will have any interactions with the tinies, though maybe there is some filthy object of Leslie's that Kristen could task the tinies with cleaning before she takes it back to her? I loved the chapter where she put Ostrov to work on cleaning her ear buds before she left that one time. And btw, don't be afraid to write about the mountains of her earwax that still remains in Ostrov from that ordeal, and how the people in the area feel about it and how it impacts their lives. And same goes for the debris of anything else they might be tasked with cleaning in the future. ;)

Whenever Kristen does something like that its one thing, but with Leslie its somewhat different because Leslie doesn't directly interact with them and has never even had a conversation with them. It adds an extra level of humiliation and degradation, because like with the case of Milya who lost her entire family to this woman and seethes over her (understandably) for it; from Leslie's perspective its like "I don't even know who you are". Then for them to be made to clean her ear buds (or whatever), it is like adding insult to injury. If that makes sense. All the moreso if things like the earwax or her footprints or whatever are left behind as permanent reminders of how she had completely dominated and degraded these people whom she didn't even know and never even spoke to or even saw. If that makes sense...

Now with Ginny, she seems to be the most gentle of the three, so out of all of them they're probably safest under her care. That's not to say Ginny isn't capable of having "fun", but it (hopefully) won't get too out of hand.

Anyway, I'm really interested to see the developments in the next chapter. Keep up the good work, Panzer!

That is interesting how you originally was going to have Patricia be the name for the main character (villainess) of this story, but she instead became Kristen, and this Patricia ended up being so small and insignificant in comparison. But in some other reality (many of them even) she may have ended up the giant villainess after all. That goes for any character though, really.

The alternate and presumably infinite parallel dimensions concept of this story is something I've been thinking about as its increasingly come up in the plot as a means of explaining what caused all this and so on. I don't put a whole lot of stock in the notion of size changing like we see in this or similar stories realistically ever becoming a scientific reality, but if there actually is any chance of such a thing happening at all, the alternate parallel dimensions angle may be the most likely way it could happen. I've always had somewhat of an interest in the concept, being a fan of science and science fiction since a child. And now that I think about it, I do remember that Janelle showed much more of an interest in the science than either Kristen, Ginny, or really anyone other than outright actual scientists has. Janelle was mentioned in this chapter despite leaving, so I suspect she still has some part to play in this story yet. I know you had said it was necessary that she be hated for some reason. That reason isn't yet obvious though.

Anyway, as for the alternate dimensions thing, we all know about the 3 basic dimensions of Height, Width, Depth, and Time is considered to be the 4th dimension. Maybe parallel dimensions count as some 5th or beyond dimension? And in addition to all of that, maybe there's a further 6th Dimension for the "scale"? In order for Ostrov (or what's left of it) to get back properly, it seems like an extremely complicated task of having to get not just some but ALL of these dimensions correct.

I said something like that in one of my last reviews, but another reviewer pointed out how Anastazja's country on the rug thing happened IN THE PAST from this story. I guess I'm an idiot firstly for missing the preference that this was the same character from the original story, and then again because it didn't register to me that this involved Time Travel years into the past.

So yeah, there's not just getting the right 3D location and proper dimension, but ALSO making sure the Scale is also right, and also the correct time. There's at least 5 different dimensional values (maybe more) at work here.

The fact that Time Travel is something at play here does open up lots of additional possibilities. If they can figure that out and how to control it, maybe they can not just restore the half of Ostrov that still exists, but Ostrov in its whole form. Before Kristen swept up half of it at a minimum, but maybe even before the "Pink Divide" and the initial destructions too. Or just go back before it teleported in the first place and stop that process somehow (if possible). The Time Travel aspect could be used to revisit or bring back old dead characters like Anton, Werth, etc. Even the Patricia from this chapter. Whether or not you would want to or why is another matter, but its all possible, I guess.

The scene with Justyna in the cemetery was very deep. Maybe the "ghosts" of her parents she saw and spoke with were just hallucinations, or perhaps they were real, though that is venturing into the realm of religion and the supernatural a bit. But maybe that is real? Who knows? The realm of the dead could constitute an additional dimension, maybe. Let's say this supernatural/religious element of ghosts is real for a moment. If so, does it really mess up their afterlife when they die in this shrunken state and/or being in an alternate universe as opposed to their own? These ghosts appeared to Justyna at her scale and in Ostrov (which is in Kristen's yoga room). Hopefully for their sake they're not condemned to this as their eternal afterlife. But then again, it could all have just been Justyna's hallucination anyway, so...

What a chapter. It's wild how just a bit of criticism is enough to set Kristen off and trigger so much fear and suffering for the tiny people. "Basic bitch" indeed.

All the scenarios involving Kristen's weekly sacrifices were so good, and it'll be interesting to see what happens when Crest inevitably runs out of "willing" volunteers. Darker times are likely approaching.

Also, I really like how the sci-fi elements are being explored more through the Restoration Project. Especially last chapter, after the scientists were transported through space and time only to witness the destruction of Ana's nano country in a new POV. That callback to the first story was so cool and a little nostalgic too.

And wow, the scene with Justyna at the cemetery was especially powerful. The way it shows how much she's lost, but also how much she's gained with raising her child. Great writing!

Lots of great stuff going on here, as is to be expected.

- The foot stuff: great

- The Ana part: unexpected and great. We've known from the start that Secret Rooms and Grove View are loosely connected, but something about their "new" fates was satisfying to see, if that makes sense.

- Time will tell, I know, but I'm wondering if this is the end of Janelle's story or if we'll see more and also what's in store for Ginny

- Kristen's sacrifices didn't disappoint

- R.I.P. East Ostrov

Keep it up!

Ah! I didn't get the reference that Anastazja was a character from your previous story. I was reminded of that scenario from the previous story, but it didn't occur to me that this was (or even could have been) the same woman. I'd also forgotten her name as its been a few years now.

But now that this is clear, this answers a few of the mysteries about the teleportation process. Since we do know that Kristen lives in the same world as Anastazja, it means those scientists did not end up being teleported very far. And since Anastazja is therefore the same scale as Kristen, it means that for her to had become so much larger to those scientists in comparison to Kristen, it means they had further been shrunken through the teleportation process from what they were in Ostrov. And since that is the case, it implies they also were shrunk when they teleported into Kristen's house in the first place. At least that's what I'm interpreting from this.

But this adds an additional problem for the Restoration Project. Assuming they can work out the correct dimension and co-ordinates, there's still the matter of scale. Would they be returned back to their homeworld in their original size, as small as they currently are, bigger? So much can go wrong in so many different ways.

But on a more positive note, I thought of something that should be helpful to all those refugees from East Ostrov. Obviously they're going to want housing and hopefully they'll eventually get it, but fortunately they are already sheltered inside of Kristen's yoga room anyway. They don't have to worry about snow or bitter cold or anything like that. Its a steady constant room temperature 24/7/365 so... even without any housing or even without clothing, they wouldn't freeze to death or anything. They can just sleep directly on the ground and be fine if its necessary.

So in spite of all the bad that's happened, that's one blessing they have. Plus the food and stuff Kristen delivers to them is practically infinite.

This chapter was something else! You’re an insanely good writer- you pull off extreme size difference like no other. Kristen has to be one of the most evil people in all of fiction- this has to be the most deadly event we’ve seen yet right? Even though she was “nice” enough to give macros a measly 2 weeks to evacuate an entire section of a massive country, the death toll has to be around 20-30 million right? I can’t wait to see how this whole story unfolds and you’re fantastic!

Author's Response:

Thank you!  Oh yeah, she's horrifically evil.  I would say in that 2 weeks, Justyna got a lot of people out of the East.  Millions probably, an exodus, but I would say maybe a few million didn't make it or refused to leave their homes.

Well, this chapter had a lot of unexpected developments. Some good; some bad, but all of them interesting in any case. The part with Anastaszja was completely unexpected. I didn't know if the mystery of the fate of those scientists who vanished would ever be revealed, but now we know their fate. However, Ostrov themselves do not know, and this is a potential major problem if the Restoration Project manages to succeed in teleporting all of Ostrov out of Kristen's house, because if they follow the exact same path as those scientists then that would be like going out of the frying pan and into the fire, because apparently this woman has no interest in playing the role of Goddess like Kristen, so she would just end them all outright.

Although, as bad as things under Kristen are becoming, that may not necessarily even be such a bad thing. At least its a very quick and relatively merciful end to be crushed by Anastaszja rather than the cruel and prolonged games of Kristen. Either way, we the readers may know the fates of the scientists but Ostrov doesn't. Maybe they can figure out how to correct the trajectory when the time comes, but even if they don't at least their end with Anastazja would be a quick one.

As for her being so much larger than Kristen, it kinda makes me wonder about the science involved with these dimensions and whatever process is involved with the travel between them. It could just be the case that some dimensions like Ana's are just inherently that much larger than others, but then on the other hand, it could be that these dimensions actually do not differ in the sizes between them and instead what actually occurs is that these people, cities, countries, are being reduced in size through the teleportation process. It all depends on how it works, which I don't know and even these scientists don't, so maybe it is a mystery that will never be explained. But it does kinda matter on a philosophical level. The fact that Justyna and all the other tinies in the two rooms may have once been exactly equal with Kristen in size but became reduced gives a very different context to things than them just always having been smaller all along.

Either way, whether those scientists shrunk when they were teleported to Ana's place or whether they remained as they were and Ana was just always so enormous, she definitely ended up much larger in comparison to them than Kristen. Like Qui-Gon Jinn said: There's always a bigger fish.

This probably won't ever happen, but what I would love to see is for Kristen to get her well deserved comeuppance and end up as a tiny herself under the dominance of a "goddess" like Anastaszja, or whomever. Unlike most of the other characters in this story, she would actually deserve that. But even then, Ana would probably just end her quickly and not put her through years upon years of torment. That said, with there potentially being an infinity of dimensions, there are certainly other Kristen-like giants out there. Ones that don't end their victims quickly, but torment them over prolonged periods. That's what Kristen deserves if you ask me. But then that Giant becomes the villain who deserves their comeuppance, so where does it end?

Kristen deciding seemingly on a whim to "Clean-up" East Ostrov was another development in this chapter which took me completely by surprise. At least she was merciful enough to give Justyna 2 weeks to try and evacuate as much as possible. I think such a large scale evacuation would realistically require probably at least 2 months (at least) to do it thoroughly, so I'm sure it still amounts to millions of deaths regardless, but still (hopefully) far less than would have been the case with no forewarning at all.

The closest real life equivalent I can think of to this would probably be the flight and expulsion of Germans from their eastern territories at the end of WW2 that were annexed by Poland and the Soviet Union. That involved millions of people being evacuated within a relatively short period of time, but even in that case it wasn't in just a mere 2 weeks but was like within the last few months of the war (and even sometime afterwards). But that's the closest example I can think of something like this.

The fact that Justyna's son was born during the midst of this kinda makes sense because the stress of that may have induced it. I hope that things will work out well for him, but its going to be a hell of a thing to grow up with the knowledge that you were born on the same day your people experienced what was most likely the worst genocide in your country's entire history. Its a hell of a thing to be born and grow up in that room in general, but to be born on that day of all days is going to be particularly stigmatizing, I would imagine.

I know you are planning on jumping forward in time with this story though I don't know how far that jump will be or when exactly it will happen. But it will be interesting to see how well he is able to cope with all this. I think since this will be all he ever knew from birth it will be much easier on him than on anyone that remembers their old lives outside that room. Its natural to pity him because he's a child, but really it won't be as bad as we might think, assuming of course that Kristen leaves him alone and all that, which of course is a very big if.

And really she should. Being a mother herself, you would think Kristen would sympathize, right? Even most (though not all) of the most depraved and wicked monsters in the world usually show some mercy whenever there are children involved. I know Kristen is a heartless bitch, but I don't think she would go as far as to harm children (knowingly, anyway). So this should give Justyna some sort of leverage on Kristen when it comes to their dealings, to cause her to go easier on Ostrov.

It seems like its been that way anyway through the pregnancy and all that. Other than this admittedly huge deal of the genocide of East Ostrov, Kristen hasn't bothered the Ostrov room TOO much in comparison to her cruel machinations with the micros in the city room. Now that Justyna's baby has been born, I don't see why that leniency towards Ostrov shouldn't continue. Or at least I hope it will.

But as I've said before, she isn't REALLY that more lenient to Ostrov anyway given how everything is amplified to them so much worse due to them being smaller. It just kinda feels that way, even though it really isn't. This chapter and its genocide is a really really bad thing, of course, but the 2 weeks head's up she gave Justyna still is a grace she usually doesn't show towards the micros, so at least there's that anyway.

I'm scared to find out what the death toll of it was, but hopefully its not as bad as I fear. I do think it was a waste for her to just sweep it up like that though. Couldn't she have just gifted it (or some of it) over to Ginny? Ginny could have kept them in a terrarium to make up for those micros Janelle stomped. It still wouldn't be quite the same as they're probably too tiny to give her facials like those micros did, but still it would have helped somewhat to make up for their loss. Would have been a better outcome than dumping them into the wastebin anyway.

Now that being said, if you don't mind you could still write something like that anyway. Justyna talked about the problems finding housing and so on for all these millions of refugees. Ginny could help with that by taking them in and nurturing them like she had done with those micros. Just an idea anyway.

Anyway, I guess one silver-lining from this is that Kristen now finally has half of that room back, so hopefully with this freed up space she can now do her Yoga and so on but without the typical accidents that usually result. I guess we'll see anyway. And I mean, to be fair it is her house after all. I guess getting half of the room back is a reasonable compromise. I dunno.

Author's Response:

As always, thank you for your detailed reviews.

I don't think I'm going to have another easter egg like Ana being the same giantess from my original story, that was just a fun throwback way to reveal what happened to Piotr, Yelena, and Viktor.  Plus, a little extra bonus that Ana herself is Ukrainian.  We all know what happened to Ana's country Grove View Apartments, I would say Kristen is somehow more merciful than Ana.

I want to believe that Justyna got out as many people as she could, in this time of crises, Justyna thrives as a leader and I would like to think maybe a few millions died, but the majority got out, now we have to see if the West can sustain that many people who were exiled from their home.

I'm not going to jump too far forward in time, but I do want to get to where Maddy becomes more of a main character.

Now we have an innocent baby thrown in the mix, maybe Kristen will recognize that, or maybe she's evil enough to not give a shit.  We know that Piotr is 19 years old, which means he was 12 when the storms happened, I don't write youthful deaths, but a lot of evilness is implied if people read between the lines.

This chapter was absolute chaos in the best way!

The contrast in Kristen is terrifying flipping from a wholesome 'Soccer Mom' at a birthday party to wiping out entire cities with a broom is such a crazy concept. The detail with the foot file 'snowstorm' was especially creepy.

The twist with Ana totally changed the game. The idea that there’s 'always a bigger fish' and a whole other dimension blew my mind.

And Justyna’s birth scene synced with the destruction of East Ostrov? Pure cinema. The balance between new life and total annihilation was intense. Also, that glass tube scene... dark AF but so effective for the horror vibe.

Great job balancing the heavy stuff with the side plots like Ezra and Samantha. Can’t wait for the next one!

The peaceful and gentle interaction between Ginny and her micros from the perspective of Ramm was a welcomed reprieve from the endless wanton destruction of Kristen, Leslie, etc. Though it tragically was short lived due to the pettiness of Janelle. :(

I had a bad feeling it would happen, too. When the previous chapter left off on the cliffhanger of Ginny calling Kristen up in the middle of the night heartbroken, I kinda suspected it would have been something like that, since she was seeing Janelle, and Janelle did the exact same thing to Rasha's tinies. I hate to see it happen, but at least I seen it coming this time unlike when it happened to Rasha where it just came out of the blue. Well, it is what it is. I think you had said in a response to another review that this needed to happen so that people would hate Janelle. I guess I'll have to wait and see why this precedent had to be set, but it has been set.

After Kristen confronted Janelle in the parking lot, Janelle spilled the beans about how she had also destroyed Rasha's tinies. I'm not sure if Kristen's reaction to this is appropriate, since she had instructed Rasha to destroy them anyway. The fact that Janelle came and destroyed them meant that Rasha had failed to carry out Kristen's instructions, so maybe that might be a reason for Kristen to be angry at Rasha again if anything? I don't know. I mean, Janelle kinda did have a point there about how Rasha having them was a liability.  Her keeping them when Kristen said to dispose of them is another thing in addition to her snooping in the first place which means she shouldn't be trusted. Yet she does know, as does Janelle.

As for the micro Kamikazing a plane into Kristen's eye, it mirrors what the nanos did to Parker, which did far greater damage. This pilot was someone on the same scale as Parker, but the replication of this feat only caused some minor pain but no injury to Kristen. Just goes to show the scale of size difference between Micros and Kristen is massively greater than the difference in size between Micros and Nanos. But to be fair it was just a plane and not a plane packed full of explosives as it was in Parker's case. I think that's an important distinction. Maybe if it had been a plane packed full of explosives, Kristen's eye might have been really injured for real. Maybe she'd even lose that eye. Goes to show they potentially could really hurt her. Kill her? Maybe not. Unless they had nukes, and even then probably it would have to be micro scale nukes, not the minuscule ones the nanos have.

The progress of the experiments in Ostrov is very interesting. It is very dangerous, and none of them knows the fates of Viktor, Yelena, and Piotr; but even with that risk and uncertainty, it is probably worth the gamble if there is even a microscopic chance they can be freed from this nightmare of being trapped in Kristen's yoga room.

Unparalleled admiration for the Goddess Kristen, willing to become an eternal subject at her feet, striving for everything she stands for, even unto death. May we view the great Goddess from the perspective of a humble servant?

Author's Response:

Oh yeah, in the future, I think we'll see more servant-style perspectives as I make new characters as Kristen gets older.

I was waiting for Leslie to make her return and this chapter did not disappoint! The earbud cleaning part was so humiliating; how it took the combined effort of an entire country just to clean off a tiny bit of wax. And yet, they still managed to pull off the impossible task under the unforgiving deadline, avoiding Leslie's wrath in the process. It's a testament to Justyna's strength as a leader, more so than anyone else in your stories. Despite everything, I can't help but see this as a promising sign of what's ahead for Ostrov.

I'm not sure how I feel about Samantha though. Unlike Justyna, she seems more selfish and all too willing to appease Kristen, willing even to sacrifice some of her own people just for the illusion of stability. So, I wonder if part of her fears that she might get left behind if Ostrov ever finds a way to escape the rooms. What might she do to stop that from ever happening?

Great work as always Panzer, really enjoying this story and Twin Diplomacy!

Author's Response:

I know a lot of people like Leslie because she's basically the cruel, careless goddess everyone wants and is guaranteed action and destruction, she's also this voice of reason for Kristen, and Leslie might be the most realistic of all the characters because she thinks this whole thing is weird and she doesn't care too much, she's got her own life.  That's why Kristen is the main character instead because she has, for better or worse, changes in emotions and morality at times.

As far as Samantha goes, all of these tiny characters go through trauma in their own way.  Samantha I don't think has sacrificed anyone for personal gain, but yeah she is willing to say what needs to be said to appease Kristen, but I think that's changing, just like how Justyna learned, maybe Samantha will too.
