One thing I've been thinking about is that there's a 0.1% chance that Charlie is really innocent: Julia discovered about Beth some other way (computer mistake?) and she framed him for whatever wicked purpose... not very plausible, but that should give you the idea how my mind gets contorted when I read this story.

Believe me, you have to be one hell of a glass-half-empty person to make this situation such a continual downward slide. Like me, for instance.
I had a sudden burst of enthusiasm for writing this story, and figured the people who've been kind enough to stick with me this long deserved some timely updates.

Kelly... it took me a few seconds to remember who she is ;p
Anyway between Anna, Charlie(*) and the fear of Julia possibly changing her mind after she's had the time to sober up, I can't imagine how they could possibly be thinking straight.
Dunno what's wrong with my mind, but the thought of Julia being so in love with Jack and him being so manipulative makes me cheer for her - until I think of Anna at least.
(*) Not really smart to say those things aloud (how many people could hear them btw?)... I'm starting to believe that being locked in a jar can have bad consequences.

Believe me, after the next 2 or 3 chapters, you will not be rooting for Julia in the slightest...
Charlie wasn't necessarily trying to throw anyone under the bus at that moment when he shouted all that; he just wanted the hell out of that jar for good.

I'm still thinking what he could have done to save Gina...
Jealousy could backfire spectacularly in many many ways, all of them unpleasant... My favorite solution atm is pride - something like "I wasn't so small last time, I want to be the first 3 inches guy to get in there".
And while I still haven't figured out a satisfactory solution, you tell us there's a whole, but everyone is locked away, and even then there's cameras everywhere - is this an IQ test or what?
On the bright side, I was irrationally afraid Julia would somehow try to drag him to her side - make him hurt her, something like that. Phew. Plus at least being so small he doesn't have to worry that Julia may get pregnant, that would be really really bad ;p

Another chapter after less than a week! yay!!
Not a bad thought there. Honestly, my answer for why it wasn't tried might not satisfy you, but basically, it goes back to the way that Julia still holds a lingering fear that Jack feels something for Gina, and constantly has to test him to reassure herself that he doesn't. Jack isn't the only one playing mind games here, and he knows it, as does Gina. I admit it fills me with glee to tease such a risky solution with the hole in the wall. The coming chapters will steadily reveal how the chance to use it might arise. As for Julia making Jack a little more integral in Gina's endangerment, well... the story ain't over yet, my friend. ;)
