I loved this idea! Would you ever do something again? I love more ironic plots actually mixed with a cruel and sadistic elements.
Author's Response: What did you have in mind? A lot of my stories already focus around extreme size difference. Do you just mean writing a story where bacteria is the killer?

I'm a big micro fan - and a snot fan - so this was pretty good. Just the right amount of buildup, perfect reaction from the young ladies in the classroom, and a pretty soft, squishy science level all contributed to it.
Granted, since it was short, I can see places where you could add some more details - it seems to shift to the teacher's point of view partway through, without describing what kind of bacteria the shrunken students see. And this may just be a knee-jerk reaction, but I almost feel like the gender thing was kinda tacked-on, and could easily be replaced with something else that could give the same effect. Still, I enjoyed reading it, and I hope you enjoyed writing it!

It is such a treat to read your stories since they don't come around often, but like your other stories I enjoyed it very much. I love micro and nano and I am also a fan of innovative ways to kill off tiny people. I have to say death by mucus is as weird to me as it is sexy and trust me I oddly found this sexy. It was short but I am just glad to see that you gave the time to write something and I know how you feel about not feeling up to writing and wanting more stories like this. Sometimes I also need an amazing micro story to get my writing juices going. Hopefully we both get to read stories like the ones we write in the future.
