Grammar could do with a little check here and there, but what you have is great. The subtle reference to Alice in Wonderland is always pleasing, too.

Thanks for the nice review. Yes, you're dead right. It was the first thing I ever wrote when I was 19. It needs some heavy subbing. Glad you enjoyed it though!

Looks like this story's really starting to get somewhere. There's a fair amount of promise in this chapter.
