Damn, this story is intense. It's nice to have some believable justification for people acting like psychos to each other. Hopefully they can come to some sort of understanding by the end of the story, but it's definitely gonna be a turbulent ride regardless of which direction this is going.

Author's Response:

Yeah, you know, it's like your classic Will-They-Won't-They... if both parties are completely bonkers and rather than falling in love the question is whether or not they'll will kill each other. So please remain seated with seatbelts securely fastened and make sure your seat backs and tray tables are in their full upright position, cause this plane's hurtling directly into a freakin' hurricane :)

Dayuuuum okay, this chapter really solidified that Trev's a crazy bastard---with abusive daddy trauma, of course. Abuse really can be a cycle and looks like Trev is unconsciously repeating it. Thought you were better than that bro 😔

Wonder who the mystery guest is going to be!

And the funeral trilogy was so real yet heartbreaking. They were so isolated from that part of their family and the mother they grew up with was completely different from her asshole family's depiction of her. No wonder she left (or was kicked out/shunned). And I'm sorry to hear about your father's passing. You really never get over the loss of a loved one, but you just have to keep on going, one day at a time.

Author's Response:

Trev we’re all very disappointed in you. Get it together, old boy.

Low key reading this in the middle of the night but the ‘mystery guest’ line really got me lmao. Def imagining a 50’s sitcom entrance with a live studio audience. If only it was in the budget.

Her mom’s family are such dicks, making sweet little baby Natalie cry. They’re the worst.

And thank you so much, yeah, grief is lousy. It comes and it goes but you learn to live with it. 🖤
