You really found a way to pope up ... err .... pep up this chapter.

Author's Response: In terms of fantasy swashbucklers, this was my first serious attempt at world-building. Glad you're still liking it! :-)

Which is interesting, because in Roger Moore's early Bond movies, he met Sheriff JW Pepper, Louisiana State Highway Police, and at one point yelled out, "I'm gonna get the CIA on you! I'm gonna get Henry Kissinger!".... I think.

Author's Response: In truth, Henry Kissinger was supposed to be as much of an enthusiast for "Biblical" diplomacy as 007. ;-)

I think I'd like to ride astride Astrid's .... err, I mean Lorraine's neck. Almost forgot that Astrid was one of my own.

Author's Response: Don't worry. I try to take everything in stride.

But, as I live in an apartment, that house arrest will have to be at _your_ house!

FUNNNNNYYYYYY!!!!

Author's Response: Thank you! I consider that high praise, indeed.

Will Carycomic return to his Campy Labor of Love?
Will Lorraine swallow a musician?
Will he end up SINGING IN LORRAINE?

Author's Response: I'm afraid I'll have to DOUBLE-CROSS you on that last one.

THRUSTETH! CLANGETH! WOOSHETH!

Author's Response: Yes, I agree. I am truly jealous of the script-writers who can outline sword-fight choreography on the printed page in a less verbose manner.

Oops. Forgot to review this chapter before.
Anyway, just as well Willek didn't say it in Sudanese.

Author's Response: Lol! Congratulations: you're the first one to get the quasi-Egyptian connection.

Actually, if a giant stomped on someone who'd recently eaten, a lot of shit would probably come out.

Author's Response: A truly "excretiating" pun. ;-D

Landing on her stomach! Oh boy.
Just as well there was nobody in it.
Probably still hurt her though.
Good thing she had the GUTS to do it.

Author's Response: I'm pretty sure those four Osiri she hit got hurt a lot worse. ;-)

Am I blue?
Am I blue?
Does this pigmentation go down to my shoe?
Cue music.

Author's Response: The Azulings were inspired by some characters in an old Italian muscle-flick from the early Sixties called GOLIATH VS. THE VAMPIRES. Or, at least, that was the title it was given when re-run on American TV, pre-1976. I forget what the original Italian title was. But, blue-skinned swashbucklers? That's guaranteed to make an indelible impression on one's mentality! Wouldn't you agree?

If the boy was shrunken, he'd fit under that bushel more easily.

Author's Response: Super-lol!

Someone must have been feeling very TESTY.

Author's Response: Can you honestly blame him? And, what if Michael had taken Sandy up on her change of mind? ;-D

I didn't know you guys had daylight savings in USA. It happens in parts of Australia. Sydney at this time of the year is 2 hours ahead of Western Aust.

Author's Response: DST isn't recognized in all 50 states. And, it used to end during the last week of October. That is; until Bush-itter Junior signed that change into law! Grrrrrrrr!

Does the church of great parent teach grace+works and Hail Parents?
I'm all for grace alone myself.
(I couldn't think of a pun. So I thought I'd preach).

Author's Response: I haven't decided, yet.

Michael, once battling Toray,
Continued on yet a new foray,
To next chapter four.
I shoot, and I score...

Author's Response: Afraid not, Tim. Toray and Michael are _allies_!

This is quite a departure.
You could take this story anywhere, and it's already been wrapped in lavatory paper.
Great ideas.

Author's Response: Thank you! And, of course, the movie titles mentioned in chapter one are purely fictional.
