A giantess vs. a giant monster -- nice! Cool fight scene. Is this beast meant to be any particular mythical creature or just something from your imagination?

I love the phrase, the Otherlands, by the way. Though calling the people "the Others" reminds me of "Lost." ;)

the monster isn't based on anything, i pulled him out of my ass while i was sitting there writing.  and sorry about the Others, i didn't mean to steal it from anything, I've never seen nor do i know anything about Lost beyond the most basic premise, so I promise it wasn't a direct taking.  hopefully they're different enough kinds of things so no tv show executives come after me, hehe
