A heaven-sent nightmare seems even more oxymoronic (emphasis on the "moronic"). But, at least he doesn't have to feel guilty about lying to her, now (re: having a bad dream).

Should he feel guilty about telling her he loves her? The jury's still out on that one. ;-)

For a second I though the dream was actually real but then he woke up. Maddison is rather strange, but one of the more enjoyable characters on this site. There was a story somewhat similar to this (but not too similar), well one of the main characters anyway (because they fall in love with another character), I read a while ago, about a human and his friend who are captured and sold to giants. I was looking for it but it seems to have been removed, because I could have sworn I'd added to my favourites.

I recall reading a few stories with that kind of set up. And I feel ya, some great stories I read a long time ago I wish I had favorited or saved because I can't find some of them now.
