Scared to say now lol, I think she sees him as something completely different than the rest of her victims. Could be that she cares about him or that she's setting him up like the guy in Interlude #2. Next few chapters will be very intense O.O

I really hope Maia's reaction at the end of this chapter means what I think it means. That cliffhanger though, another great chapter.
