I have no idea what she has in mind, or exactly how she's going to make sure it never happens again; for all I know, she may have been planning his future years at the computer while he was with her ("you have no idea" :)

Hehe. Well, Judy is definitely up to something, so who knows what was going on with that computer? There's still plenty of Judy to come in the story.

This was my kinda chapter. Was very pleased with how everything transpired. Of course I'm a little biased seeing as how Judy is my favorite character. At any rate I'm wondering if Judy has taken exception to what Maggie did to Scott? At least that's what it seems like to me. Maybe she thinks Maggie deserves to be punished...
I have to admit that I was wrong. Not having Judy in the story until now has made her first appearance that much better. Well done and I can't wait to see what's happens next.

PS love how you kept enforcing how big Judy is and how dominate she is even when at his biggest. Also, the fact that his barely bigger than her size 12's.

Judy did indeed take exception, and there will be fallout from that later on. Glad you enjoyed Judy's first appearance in the story. And since she's kind of the antagonistic center of the series, her dominance is something I intend to keep on reminding the reader of.

I think Scott has a lot more power fthan he gives himself credit for. Maybe not from a physical stand point or any sort of authority, but from a social angle he could be quite dangerous. Mother and daughter seem to have some subtle territorial disputes over the little man. If he somehow pits them against each other?...Fireworks!!
Good chapter. It's nice to see Scott eek out some fragments of happiness and such a shitty situation.

You're right to question the power balance here. Judy has her own goals just as much as Maggie, and they don't always crossover. Thanks for reading!
