Maggie is good at tactics, Mrs Stevens is at her best when it comes to strategy... really, it's difficult to comment her actions (or her plans!) after just two chapters :)
For now I'll just say that MrSirk's idea makes a lot of sense.
Except that, well, that "Mommy loves you" sounds a lot like she's talking about whatever she has in store for him (and is of course for his own good, as always)

Maggie and Judy are almost always scheming, though the difference is that Maggie's usually doing it for a short-term game she's playing with Scott, while Judy usually has a lengthier agenda. Judy isn't necessarily lying when she says that to him, but her definition of the word is obviously much more twisted than it is for most parents...

Thanks for reviewing! Interesting thought, though luckily for Scott, I'm not a mean enough writer that I'd put him through something with Carly when he's already got Judy and Maggie.

Great chapter. Just was sending Scott alone to his room wise on Judy's part? Now he's easy prey for Maggie.(unless that was Judy's plan and using Scott as bait) I honestly can't believe Maggie took the news as well as she did, but seeing as Judy has all the power I'm sure she knows it's in her best interest to keep her happy. I can't wait to see what happens next.

PS is Judy campaigning for senate or governor?(I can't remember)

Scott's "room" is actually on the living room couch now that he's under house arrest, so Judy would probably hear Maggie coming to get him. You're right that Maggie does recognize Judy's authority in situations like this and knows keeping her happy is important. And Judy is campaigning for Senate.

Okay I'm gonna guess Judy's running a long con on Scott. She's basically won at this point Scott's shrunk at all times now. It works best for her if she can somehow convince him being shrunk is what's best for him as well. I think if she gets her way he'll be tiny long after he's served his time.

Good reading there. It is indeed in Judy's best interest for Scott to begin to eventually feel contented, or at least complacent, with his situation.
