Gotta agree with riczar once again on this chapter, Scott's anticipated talk with Judy ended up underwhelming and somewhat disappointing to me. Seeing as it was hyped pretty hard with his tying loose ends with Ella and enlightenment of his mother's true evils, I figured a much bigger showdown would occur.

Instead, he get beat down pretty quickly without much of a fight. Is he really just going to end up as the family pet?

I'm fairly confident that Judy's master plan won't come to bear fruit as evidenced by the stories down the timeline, but the lack of justice on Scott's end makes this story kind of inconclusive.

Hopefully the final chapter will bring some closure, at least for this story.

Or maybe it'll end with Judy reigning victorious, taking the win this time around. Maybe Scott will get his justice someday in the future.

Author's Response:

I see what you're saying, although the ending wasn't intended to be a showdown - Scott just doesn't have the tools right now to do anything about his mother's plans. This was just intended to be a laying out of truths between the two. It's not like he's already doomed to be the family pet, since Judy still has an uphill battle to get more people on board with her idea in the future. It's a fair statement that Scott's not getting justice for some of what happened to him in this story just yet, though keep in mind this is one part of a continuing series, so his journey is far from over.

Speaking of Nancy,  any chance we'll see what Judy will do to Nancy so she doesn't take advantage of Scott again in the last chapter?

Author's Response:

That's probably not something that will be shown, as in all likelihood it'll just be a conversation between the women. However Judy is confident, and rightly so, that she can convince Nancy to keep things PG-13 with Scott from now on.

Man, it's kinda hard to read Judy.  I do believe she's upset over what Nancy did and i look forward to see how she makes sure Nancy never does it again.  But at the same time,  the way she treated Scott in this chapter. ..

Though this chapter did confirm to me that part of her motivation is making sure her "little boy" stays with her forever.

Also,  I'm guessing Maggie told Judy about Nancy?

Looking forward to the next chapter!

Author's Response:

She definitely wants Scott to stay in her grasp for the foreseeable future, though not necessarily forever, as we may see in future stories. Judy has a plan here, for sure. And yes, Maggie told Judy about Nancy.

Thanks for reviewing!

Grea chap to show judy still determinated, confiandent (easy with techlogic lobby) and pervert. will Maggie or Kyle in final chap?

Author's Response:

I'd say all of those adjectives fit Judy to an extent. Maggie and Kyle will be absent in the last chapter, though there will be one other person appearing in some fashion.

So that's it?  It sounds like its going to be more of the same treatment for the rest of his life.  No forgiveness, no redemption.  Why'd she even bother hearing anything Scott had to say?  It doesn't change anything.  The whole Nancy thing proves my point.  She should be on her way to a jail cell, but because Scott is a shrinkee, he doesn't matter.  Judy makes all these claims that she loves him, but I imagine its not as a son, but a favored toy or pet.  A normal parent would be enraged by someone raping their child, but she's just going to tell her not to do it again.  And Scott's not asking enough of the right questions, or is being too general.  He should be asking for specific examples of what Judy envisions his life to be.  Many of these questions I've asked in previous comments.  Is he going to be her foot slave, or is going to be able to find a real job?  What about relationships, sex, marriage?  He won't have any possessions either, since everything is built for normal sized people.  I would go crazy without a computer and a TV.  Judy isn't there supervising him all the time and others have taken advantage of Scott during these absences.

Author's Response:

For Judy, this conversation is less about actually turning Scott to her side right now and more about at least making him aware of the full stakes, as well as what she sees as his easiest option now. She certainly does have other interests impeding her role as a good parent. The questions Scott should be asking will arise in time; for now, he's just trying to wrap his head around what Judy's done to him and is still in the process of trying to do. It won't be addressed in this story, but Judy's plan doesn't necessarily involve enslaving Scott for the rest of his life - his purpose for her is mainly in the here and now during her campaign, as well as her association with Techilogic.

Judy doesn't give two shits about any kind of justice. Raping a convict is still illegal. Just "talking" to Nancy doesn't absolve her of her crime.

Author's Response:

Judy's vision of justice is definitely pretty perverted by this point. Pun semi-intended; in seriousness, though, you're correct about her possible absolution.

Considering how appalled Maggie is over what Nancy did,  I've wondering. ..Why did Maggie want to give Scott a bath?  Going by Scott's fears,  he probably thought she'd take advantage of him, but now I'm not sure.

Author's Response:

Good question; that was something I was hoping readers might consider. Before, Maggie imagined stripping Scott down like that just to be an act of ultimate humiliation - she might tease him, but it only would've been to make him feel sick. At the end, though, being forced to confront his reaction to that plus being violated by Nancy, she probably wouldn't have been able to.

Ohh I se a renewed Scott. Will this get Maggie and Judy going again. And will Maggie tell Judy what happened previously or will she experiment with Scott. Will Ella keep her love strong for Scott or will she try him in her shoes like she did previously. As for the writing there are no spelling/grammar errors and the flow is great. Keep up the great work. Don't ever stop sriting you have a real gift.

Author's Response:

Scott is indeed renewed, and really, it was probably necessary if there was even going to be another story. I'll hold back on spoiling character actions since some of that will be revealed in the last 2 chapters.

I think judy lost already her status as mom n parent for his son. Can't wait to see the talk with scott!

Scott might very well feel the same way.

JimBob, I'm trying to take the point of view of a parent.  There's a lot of time and resource investment raising a child to become an adult that contributes to society.  The wish for every parent is for the happiness of their children.  As messed up as Judy is, I have trouble believing that she wishes a life of slavery on her son. Another hope for parents is for grandchildren.  Now maybe she has some kind of plan for Scott that differs from his current treatment.and provides him with some opportunities to achieve some of the above, albeit under her supervision.

Author's Response:

You're right that Judy doesn't want her son enslaved, as we'll see in the final couple of chapters. However, that's not to say she won't disregard a lot of what Scott wants in favor of what she sees as the greater good.

Hope for Scott and sympathy? Somewhere Jacksmith is tied up and his doppleganger is giving the little guy a few chapters of freedom...either way I am enjoying the recent upswing for out protagonist even if bratty Maggie was awesome.

Yeah I only just now got untied but the damage is done I suppose.  :/

I always love it when the main protagonist whom has been humiliated, abused, incarcerated so that he can finally have his "moment in the sun".
I am likewise satisfied with Maggie's continued benevolence. She may either come to a startling realization about Scott's situation or she was just so disgusted with Nancy's actions she has just been in a stupor. I'm hoping it's the former but knowing Maggie's track record, it's just too easy to say she's good now because that doesn't fit her character(in my opinion at least).

I'm so glad that Ella has not only returned but has seemingly started their relationship were they left off at. Even though I love Judy's character, I really hope she doesn't spoil Scott and Ella's reunion.

aaron
PS I can't remember what Ella was like in part one anyways, hahaha.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review. I can't say Maggie's magically transformed into a perfect angel now, but she may be a little different in the future after her conversation with Scott; it would be hard not to be. And Judy has bigger fish to fry than her son's romances, as we'll see in the final two chapters.

Ella herself was basically the same, though she's a little more mature in this one since a few years have gone by.

Riczar, I don't think Judy would EVER give up Scott. For anything. She's way too much of a control freak, and has gotten way too used to controlling Scott for his entire life.

Hehe. You know Judy well.

He might not realize it, but I think he has a developing ally in Maggie. I have to wonder how she'd feel if she'd heard his breakdown here bout how much his actions while he was drunk are tearing him apart.

Author's Response:

That's a good thought about Maggie. Ordinarily she would probably just brush off Scott's blubbering, but after their encounter in the poolhouse, she might've been more willing to listen.

good to see Ella backing Scott. I am wrong maybe but for me it's possible Judy or Maggie (the old one) would frame Scott abt accident event. just a theory. Can't wait the two final chapters!!!!

Author's Response:

Thanks for reading. Anything is possible here; Judy certainly wants to keep Scott in her house.

Non-canon?  Damn!  I liked how Ella seemed to enjoy holding tiny Scott.  It gave me hope that they might share some intimate moments like that in the future.  Plus Judy seemed to like Ella in the first story.  I was hoping that if Judy's laws passed that she might be willing to let Scott go into her custody.  A nice chapter!  Some more with Scott and Ella next chapter?  Hopefully Judy won't walk in on them.  He'd probably never be able to see or talk to Ella again if that happened.

Author's Response:

I realize I was pretty vague in that end note; even though the 1st one is non-canon, constants include Judy likes Ella, and Ella enjoys holding Scott at his smaller size. Unfortunately this chapter is Ella's only appearance in the story, but she will be in the next one.

good to knw that scott gonna do something abt current situation but he need from 'nice' people like Maggie (even if she's conflicted), Libby, Ella, Carolyn and Kyle!

You're right that he won't be able to do much on his own. Scott's got his work cut out for him making things right.

This does beg the question,  what is the line Maggie won't cross?  Obviously she wouldn't do what Nancy did.

Author's Response:

You're right that Maggie definitely wouldn't do what Nancy did. The line is intentionally unclear, but it probably exists wherever Maggie believes she's doing actual, lasting harm. Most of what she's done to Scott she views as temporary punishment for his sins, and feels justified in it. When she sees him at his lowest, though, she begins to realize the kind of impact that vulnerability is having.
