This Grace character is absolutely intriguing.
And I would love to see more of her.

I wonder how powerful Grace could get in the end.

Could she get even as powerful as this Caroline?

And what if a sorceress like Caroline become all evil. It would seem only like childs play for her to submit mankind to her will.
Why do they choose to keep living in the shadows of an inferior specie?

Really love your work btw.
Next to enjoy it, I mostly study it to learn from :)

Author's Response:

Glad to hear someone is still reading and liking this. I originally had grand plans to turn this into a series that would've explored some of the concepts you're mentioning, like Grace and a force as strong as Caroline coming to power, though those ideas have sort of had to fall by the wayside unfortunately. Thanks for reviewing.

I must say sir grace has quickly become one of my favorite all time giantesses in a story. She's not necessarily evil but oh so deliciously cruel and condescending. The way she continually calls Allen little boy despite him being the same age or older had me in fits of laughter. For clarification was grace planning on shrinking Roxy too and having and playing dress up with her and Allen? Also can we expect to see more of grace in a future story soon? Thanks again for the story man, cheers!

Author's Response:

Thanks! You're right, Grace isn't outright evil, but she is on a massive power trip. And yes, she was planning to shrink and play with them. I'm not quite sure when the sequel to this will be posted, but Grace will show up.

Hi. It´s me again.

Bueno... ¿qué puedo decir?

THIS IS THE STORY OF SITE OF TIME OF FOREVER!

Bueno.

Bye. :)

Author's Response:

Once again, thank you for the depth of your commentary. I'm glad to hear you so enjoyed the story and characters. You're right, I normally don't write brothers and sisters getting along very well, so this was a divergence of sorts from my normal stories. I brought Grace into the story to be able to introduce a new conflict but also show the relationship of Roxy and Allen at work aside from just teasing and joking. I like your analysis of Roxy's treatment of Allen. Both of them act out of nostalgia, and Roxy enjoys engaging in games from their childhood to try to recapture the fun of those days before she and her brother are fully into the adult world. Allen participates in the games for the same reason, even though neither person wants to admit it due to embarrassment. Your comprehension of the story world is correct, with one difference: "deity" is more of a comparative term for Caroline. She's not a god, but simply the most powerful witch in the world. Most of humanity is unaware of the wizarding world, though there are certain exceptions. It's not clear at this point, but it's very possible Roxy's favorite band is aware that one of their members possesses magic. As for the risk of Allen revealing his family's secret at a young age, in addition to being taught to never speak of it to humans, there are spells in place to protect Allen from letting it slip. I realize it's not entirely clear yet, but there are many safeguards in place to prevent unwanted information from getting out. Roxy and Allen probably always played this way together, even as children, meaning Roxy may have made Allen go along with what she wanted by shrinking him, but she has always been protective of him and ensured he wasn't hurt, so he is content. Most witches do not abuse their power as Grace does, and many of them would respect Allen as a person, even if they do see him as different. Grace was able to evade consequences for so long that she has ceased to consider the risk of toying with people less powerful than her, which is why she was finally caught. It was inevitable. I'm glad you liked the characters and the world, and I certainly plan to bring them back in more stories. I look forward to any commentary of Julia you may have. Thanks again!

You are right about the immediate family. Pet might be a little too strong word and he is a strong character. But those witches and warlocks are so powerful. Roxy, not even fullgrown, already mastered shrinking people and mind control. What could she possibly learn in human schools and how could she possibly respect teachers or other humans if she effortlessly can use mind control over them.

What are Allen's best achievements worth, when his best efforts are child's play for almost every individual in the magic community he is often confronted with. Grace was the final nail on that coffin. Reading his mind, shrinking him to bug size, not even save in his own house and locked room.
The reading his mind stuff was devastating on so many levels. His communication skills and smart tactics, his only line of a little defence he has against overwhelming odds. That one thing that made him feel confident about himself when dealing with Roxy is totally shattered in seconds.

After this incident, more than ever will he realise how powerless he is, even with his best efforts and whatever he achieves in the human world. Even a character as strong as Allen. It will always be in the back of his mind.

What if he marries a witch and he himself becomes a doctor/surgeon and his wife has the ability to heal herself and others in seconds or minutes. Or that his family congratulate him and praise him for becoming a doctor knowing that his mother, father, sister can do a much better and faster job with ease.

How would that relationship be with his wife and if they have children, some with power and others not. His own children with magic would dominate him if his wife wasn't there to protect him.

But I don't think after that incident he would ever marry a witch.

I bit of overanalyzing on my part. Because this story was meant to have some fetish fun with magic. But I'm always interested in the relationships and consequences that come along with size difference, size change, slow size change, temporary size change, power difference, etc.

Author's Response: You raise some good points. Even if this is a fetish story I do try to open up analyses of those size and power shifts you describe. Allen's expectations about the world probably won't change much after this, because he already has a healthy grasp of the fact that there's such a vast difference in capabilities for witches and humans. He's fully aware of the implications for his medical goals. Another couple of points that I'll make is that Roxy didn't necessarily mind control the teacher, she used some simple suggestion to help the process. Full-on mind control would actually be outside what she can do. Additionally, you're right that witches don't have much use for human education (hence why Roxy mentions she doesn't know many at her school), though she's a special case as her parents have urged her to maintain a connection with humanity as much as possible even as she continues learning about magic elsewhere. Finally, while magic can be used to heal flesh wounds or curse-specific injuries, other means are required if someone should become sick or hurt through an alternate source, which we may eventually see Allen become involved with. Thanks for the thought you put into your response.

Enjoyable story and world. I wonder why Allen was adopted. The difference in power is to great, that he is more a pet than a real family member. His family and the Witch/Warlock community can't take him seriously as a person. Even a 5 year old witch would dominate him. That is more of a humiliation. Grace isn't even nescessary to make him feel insignificant. The constant reminder that he is nothing more than a vulnerable-inferieur-in-every-way-human comes from his environment and sister. He can't participate in family events where magic is involved. I like those awkward size situations you put friends and family in.

Author's Response:

Interesting take. I agree there's a divide since Allen is human, though I'd argue there's a sense of equality there, at least in the immediate family, even with how Roxy treats him. None of them view him as a pet and he doesn't feel insignificant, though it may be different for other witches/warlocks looking in. Of course, you're entitled to interpret it how you like.

Awesome story and a fitting ending.  I like Roxy and Allen a lot.  They’re like cool friends to the reader.  It was funny when Roxy regrew Allen for the debriefing with Grace’s parents, and “it had noticeably taken several seconds longer than usual.”  It took a while, I thought at first, because she disliked having her brother at his full height :) … and later I factored in that she was also fatigued.

Grace… I really, really, really, really like.  Reading Snack for Grace for the first time, right after she made her appearance in Hybrid, identified Grace as being fucking awesome… godlike in her toying with Jay.  To see that *epic* side of Grace, in SfG, made her role in Hybrid seem all the more exciting.  (SfG was like a glimpse of heaven, in my opinion.)

I’d say I have a crush on the character of Grace.  A bit embarrassed to admit that.  That’s what amazing writing will do.  She seems real… just words on a page… but I never tire of her presence “on screen”.  She makes any story five stars in my view.  The whole story could be about a boring topic like the history of rock formation in Boring National Park… and then you write that Grace walks by and simply waves.  Bam!  Five stars!  That’s how I view it. :) :) :)

Grace’s downfall is just fuel for her ascending, for her rising, for her revenge. :)  She had some significant discomfort and she cried.  But she is such an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G character that even her imperfections and weaknesses are ultimately included in her perfection and strength.  Like I said, I never tire of Grace.  I like that she has a fetish for vore, and she is very playful.  I like her choice of words when she speaks -- elements of being maternal and dominating… desirous and impulsive.  She is my favorite character of all time for shrinking/GTS stories.  Thanks Jack.

Author's Response:

Thanks much! You're right that Roxy would probably procrastinate regrowing Allen, though it also had to do with her fatigue in that case.

Glad to hear Grace went over so well and that she felt realistic. I've certainly had mini crushes on fictional giantesses around this site before, so you're not alone there. I will keep Hybrid: Boring National Park in mind as a story.

You're correct too that Grace won't be so forgiving of all this. Hubris is a sure weakness of hers, and later on, we may well see it lead her in some more drastic directions.

This story was just plain, old-fashioned fun. It had many of the standard giantess tropes, but you presented them with skill and creativity, making it easy to suspend disbelief. The characters' personalities held true throughout the work, and that kept me coming back to read further. The appearance of Grace was necessary as a means of bringing an end to the fun, but at least there's one more chapter. Excellent story! It makes me want to explore others in this universe.

You are an amazing, talented wordsmith.  Thank you so much for writing this, Jack.

Grace is a fantastic character, and I love vore.  I read Snack for Grace, after starting the Hybrid story, and SfG is incredible!  The setup is perfect, with repeat vore and teasing.  It's the best vore story I've read.  I liked the line in Snack for Grace when she said “You might be older than me, but since I can make you whatever size I want, whenever I want, I think this name fits you better, don’t you?"

I was wondering the likelihood that Grace will appear in another story in the future, say, in the next 12 months?  Maybe a long story with Grace as the lead?  I understand you need to write what interests you most, so I'm guessing it's unlikely, but thank you very much for what you did write with Grace.

Author's Response:

Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying this, and I appreciate what you say about SfG. With lines like that one I wanted Grace to come across as a self-righteous brat with just enough skill to back it up.

I have fun writing Grace so she will definitely appear in another story, though I honestly can't say when; I try to only work on stories when I feel a great urge to do so, hoping that helps the quality.

Love that Roxy arrived at the nick of time. Grace might be a prodigy, but it seems Roxy still has experience on her side.

Also, what joke is Roxy talking about at the end?

Author's Response:

Right. Grace has a bit of an edge over Roxy for power, but the latter has still put in more time with her talents.

Roxy's referring to the whole act of putting Allen in her mouth. She meant the "telling" part of the joke somewhat metaphorically.
