I believe the way the depth of the plot is going Nostory, most likely the Giantesses were a development of the pre-collapse world's attempt at victory. Most likely after a while in some fashion, after the collapse of their respective creators (Whig likely facilitated food and sheltering needs), they became wandering byproducts of a long ago war. (Another reason: they seem vulnerable to gunfire and were actually killed with no artillery involved. At this point aliens would potentially destroy readers thought as well as the stability of the plot.).
I'm curious about the relationship between the two too.
Their are so many ways that could go. 1 Giantesses are born normal sized, Dagon finds her and his parents decide to adopt her or some cation of that plot. 2 he found her and raised her himself. 3. He was borne first by accident in a Rare genetic fluke in Giantesses reproduction, their mother dies along the way and he takes care of her (but then what of other Giantesses? The plot like options 2 and to a lesser extent 1 are still doable, but it will take some work to fill in the blanks (2 and 1 as well, but this one especially as the awkwardness, backstory and individual atunements towards environment by characters will have to be explained.)) most likely it is option 1,2, or unmentioned, in any case it will be interesting to see where the history of this unique and intimate relationship takes us.
I love this story, hinting backdrops of intricate pasta while retaining in depth plot and primary story to keep the reader wanting to see any part. Keep it up!

I really enjoyed this chapter, Cindy was great as we saw how vulnerable she really is and, Dagon and her really depend on each ther a lot more than I thought! Plus we saw more of Olivia and Dagon's reluctance to discuss his family but I doubt you'll be keeping Cindy a secret for long, their giantess bodyguard will soon reveal herself to the princess!

I loved the update but somehow didn't expect Jogan and CIndy not to be siblings, seems they just grew up together rather than sharing the same mother.
Cindy seems unaffected by mating season, how come? From the way Melody reacted it seems that its more animalistic than something they can control.

I hope Olivia wont be some stock fairytale character with no real distinct traits and winds up being some damsel in distress or is used to be a mere love interest for Dagon.
Best part was seeing the banter between Peter and Dagon, Peter expressing an interest in Cindy and Dagon diverting him from that course.

Giantesses caused the apocalypse? Interesting and yet despite how savage they act, Cindy is different although her mouth play suggests that aspect of being a giantess is not totally lost.

This sounds like a great story in the making, Dagon small and defenseless but able to walk amongst society and be accepted while giantess Cindy is shunned despite her enormous strength.

Great first chapter! I can already tell Im going to like this story! Judging by Dagans reaction when he entered his sisters mouth, there are more giantesses roaming the land and any other giantess would not have hesitated to eat him like a little snack! Im interested in this universe so far, this story also feels quite different then most of your works so far.
