Completely, utterly, figuratively, and literally!

Again, great stuff. The pingponging power shifts make it all the more fun to picture whatever she's planning for him. I'm almost sorry he didn't go along with her at first; it sounded like she was perfectly willing to give him a decent afternoon at first.

In response to your first chapter note, this may well have already occurred to you, but I think it would be fun to see more of a sportswoman princess. Not quite a tomboy, but someone who loves a physical challenge and isn't afraid to show off. Obviously she'd beat your protagonist at just about anything, but maybe she has enough of a soft spot for weaker things that she devises a test more suited to his size that would egg on his ego just enough to make him agree. At this point I'm just rambling, but there it is.

Author's Response:

It would be no fun with things went according to plan! Can't have that.

Actually I hadn't thought of that specific kind of princess. That actually seems like it might provide quite the moments of amusement. I'll give it some further thought and see where I might work her in!

Awesome story so far. I love the concept and all the potential it has. And fantasy worlds with multi-sized creatures are my favorite settings for these types of stories. Looking forward to reading more.

Author's Response:

Many thanks, should be a ride. Hopefully a good one! I've got plenty of lovely (read:horrid) ordeals for our grumpy protagonist to endure!
