Well, no, that wasn't my primary meaning. But, even so, Barrowman does bring up a valid point. Is this like the reverse of that parallel-Earth seen in THE INVENTION OF LYING? Everyone but our hero has no problem telling the absolute truth?

Poor Tom! :-(

Call me overly harsh. But, I don't care how much kinder Emma is to him, in comparison to the others, while he's shrunk. Even the least of all evils is still evil!

I'm not saying the next chapter will totally change your mind about the nature of evil in this world, but we may be seeing that Tom views it differently at least.
