Maggie seems awfully protective, i guess there's something about this new girl that doesn't make her think Scott would be safe with her. Though, she still invited her to their house.

Scott will rarely be certain in this story just what's motivating Maggie's actions and whether he should be worried. In this case, he should probably be a little worried
