"she hadn’t worn him in her shoe for a year" - even knowing it it's weird to read (adds "improves sibling relationships" to list of advantages of shrinking detention)

And also, "It had certainly taken him and Ella a few tries to figure it out" must be saved for posterity, someone someday needs to write about people scratching their heads until they figure it out :)

I'm currious now as to where we've met her before. My first guess is the Shrink Act Files. Think I'll have to go back a re-read that one maybe
