Here might be a point you may have not considered about shrinking. If someone was shrinking not by a device or spells but nature then how would the person get back to normal.

But if that person was your dearest friend, someone you wouldn't hurt ever and this exact situation happened how could you want to think or consider hurting that person, consider the person as a lowly creature when the person couldn't stop this from happening. That the fate they got was to die by their best friend.

They tried their hardest to get attention from someone who could of saved them. But in the end no one could save him not even the dearest of friends, cause that's what friends are for. To help you in the dire of times.

This last chapter surprised me. I figured she would end up crushing him but I thought she would at least think about keeping him around. She really does thing of tinies as things to just crush. It's interesting to see that she chose her own satisfication over someone she truly loved so quickly. And from the end of it, she didn't even enjoy it. Oh well. Hopefully we get more of her and her love of crushing bugs in the future. She seems to have many ways of having fun with it.

Great story!

I love the psychology of this story so far. Here is a woman that doesn't look at the shrinkee as a human and gets off on stomping the life out of them. Here is her best friend, a man she loves as a friend, who is now about to become a shrinkee. Does the friendship mean more than her primal urges or once he shrinks, he might as well be dead to her. Very interesting. Can't wait to see more.

Question. When Maudie says “Now you’re not!” , do you mean "No you're not!" ?

As others have said, if you had not stated that english was not your first lanuage, I never would have known. Still really enjoying your story so far and I'm eagerly awaiting your next chapter.

I like the premise of a ruined friendship where one party ends up humiliated and disposed of. Before he ends up a red, puny stain underfoot, I'd love to see him suffer some serious forced foot smelling.

For English not being your native language, you could've fooled me!
It'd be awesome if before Noel is found by Maudie, he sees her bring home a group of tinies (men and women) and crushes/disposes them in various ways and that makes him even more frightened to be found. And maybe whenever he does get found, Maudie could crush tinies in front of him to toy with him. I don't know, just a couple of ideas. Either way, it's been a great start!
