Interesting revelation that Kiri didn't just shrink him, but used the size she stole as magical energy. And now she's doing it to the entire tavern... she's probably stolen at least a few people's worth of energy at this point and is going to be one hell of a fight.

Oh no! He's stuck that way forever and without his increased durability?! I kinda figured being restored to his normal size wasn't likely, but...oh this poor human. I feel really bad for him.

I have it on good authority you can live a full, fulfilling life at tiny size, and this guy's got good caretakers at least.
