Olivia really did warm up to Jennifer pretty quickly, but on reflection it doesn't seem that unnatural. I think Olivia is really starting to understand how terrible her position is in the world and how much Nick shielded her from it. I think she'll take what she can get, and she can't afford to hold grudges at this point.
Just my guess. Of course we'll see how it goes. This has been well done so far.

Good observation! Olivia is starting to feel empathy for Jennifer—but only so much. The end of ch10 does seem a bit rush, but that’s only part of the story. After all, enemies don’t become friends that fast—or do they?

Great stuff. Interesting that Janna despite being the "good" one might actually be more dangerous to the little ones, considering how easily she can be manipulated.
Always cool to explore the consequences of the power difference with more than direct confrontation. The leaders now have to accept that everything they can accomplish is nothing compared to what the weakest can do with a giant's ear. With Janna's "benevolence" messing up the tiny society and Laura having her dark fun... it's all gonna be great.

Man, so many good things to say about this story.
First, despite their "psycho" tendencies the girls actually seem human and feel like they have their own motivations and points of view. They don't feel like just puppets of the author like in a lot of violent stories.
Second, just the right amount of world-building and character development: enough to make the world feel alive, but not so much that it gets boring.
I love how you handle the interactions between Laura & Janna and the tiny people. You really nail the contrast between their amusement & whimsy and their toys' desperation. Whenever they start to pick up or otherwise interact with a character you like, it's sooo wonderfully tense (Poor Rayades!). The writing really helps the reader identify with both sides I think.
I have no idea how you do this so well but I am super happy that you're still writing.
