I have to say, I was completely disgusted by this story. Apparently the writer is known for evil giantess works and it shows.

The idea of gentle and evil giantesses living and learning together in the same place is completely unrealistic. One faction would destroy the other. As it stands the gentle giantesses come of as hypocritical at best. Like the walrus in Alice in Wonderland.

I think any half decent person would not just stand by and watch what is going on in that place.

Author's Response: If you don't like it, don't read it. The University isn't meant to teach people to be good, upstanding citizens. At all. And they don't stand by and watch, trust me.

So that was pretty messed up. I kind of lost interest about a 3rd of the way though and just skimmed the rest. Amateur Wordsmith is wrong about the giantess being evil. She chrossed the event horizen right about when she irreparably disfigured someone.

So this was a colaboration? Was this a rollplay that you made into a story?

@Amateur Wordsmith Well, your opinion about the giantess character not being evil is wrong. It's not even really an opinion, it's a misconception, and that's why it's wrong. This character entraps someone who's supposed to be there friend, mutilates them and then keeps them as a sex slave. That's pretty evil.

Summary:

18 year-old Liz is a British Princess who just happens to be 300 feet tall. Slender, young and beautiful, she moves to America, and becomes a celebrity after she accidentally knocks over the Statue of Liberty. But don't get in her way, or you could end up underfoot...

Celebrity Crush is a broad satire of celebrity culture and the folly of ignoring wealth inequality, wrapped up in a rollicking giantess adventure that's bloody-good fun. Liz stomps on her fans and employees like the insects they are, and one-ups Godzilla when she takes a shortcut through a busy highway. With a special guest appearance by Christina Hendricks.

Ok, this story as it is makes no seance. The "seperat by equle" line, comme on. If there were giants and normal sized people living in the same society there would be segragation and for good reason. Also, why would Angelina Jolie critasize the princess and then do a compleat 180 after the princess ate a news crew. No one acts like a real person in this story.

The only way people would put up with this kind of thing is if that red spice also gave them invulnerability. Even then the red spice would be a highly controlled substance.

Author's Response:

Celebrity Crush is a farce, which means not everything in the story is supposed to make sense. The whole point of the story is that it yes, obviously, humans and giantesses aren't "seperate-but-equal" in any real sense. One of them has all the power here. The joke is that in spite of obvious evidence to the contrary, both little people and giantesses seem to genuinely believe everyone is on a level playing field. Even small, powerless people support the rights of Giantesses to trample them, because they either tell themselves that the giantesses deserve it, or believe they may themselves one day become or date a giantess.

This is meant to be a metaphor for the way America's poor often deny the existence of class inequality. Many people blame the poor and disenfranchised for their failures, calling them lazy, stupid and immoral. At the same time they7 praise the wealthy for their hard work, calling them job creators. While there is some truth to this narrative, it grossly oversimplifies reality, and ties into something called the "Just-world fallacy" the belief that people get what they deserve. As the just-world fallacy goes, the poor are poor because they're bad, the rich are rich because they're good. Because America is a classless meritocracy, right?

In fact, there's a huge amount of evidence that runs contrary to this conservative narrative. A wealth of data shows that the best predictor for a person's income--rather than some nebulous concept like persistence, integrity, hard-work or intelligence (although those are also important) is the income of their parents. And the data also shows that it's becoming more and more like that, and that the gap between the haves and have-nots is growing rapidly.

In other words, the rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer, and it's extremely difficult for the poor to become rich, regardless of how smart you are or how hard you work. As corporate profits and the incomes of the richest 0.01% Americans rise dramatically, the wages of the middle class have stagnated for decades, and the wages of the poor have been actively decreasing. This is due to a number of factors, like outsourcing, automization, the erosion of unions and good-paying working class jobs, rising education costs, rising unemployment rates, and an increasing expectation that people have college education to be eligable for jobs that once had no education requirements. But the rich get richer, in ways that often hurt the poor and middle-class, and hardly anyone wants to acknowledge the problem, let alone try to fix it.

The giantesses are meant as a symbol for the ultra-rich: the billionaires and CEO's and wealthy celebrities of the world. Most of them come from utterly privaledged backgrounds inherited great wealth, and yet common people believe that one day, with hard work, they too will become or marry a giantess. The giantesses are largely a self-serving, sometimes destructive lot, and yet people believe they're deserving of special privalages, and oppose any laws that might constrain them.

Celebrity Crush was intended to be a satire addressing this and other issues. Did I do a good job communicating this message? Perhaps not. If there's one thing that writing this series has taught me, it's that writing good satire is really, really hard. Was it a good idea to try to introduce sociopolitical satire into an erotic fetish fiction story in the first place? Well, I think there's defintely some potential there, although there may have been a bit of hubris involved in thinking I could pull it off. Anyway, I hope this at least clarifies what I was going for. I'm going to publish another chapter soon, which was originally intended as the first chapter of the series, and provides some exposition for the world. Hopefully that will help to clarify the series' themes.

I think this story needs a better description. I stopped maybe a page and a half in. The main characer talks about taking revenge on "The Order" but it's hard to feel sorry for someone who goes around murdering people.

I wouldn't have looked at this story if it had a preper description.

Author's Response:

I'm sorry you feel that way. The title is appropriate because she did go home. Home isn't just a place but a state of mind. For her to have a semblance of life and to keep her family safe the order had to go. Revenge is never a clean business. I wanted the reader to feel sorry for her not because she was nice but out of pity of her circumstances. After all eating meat doesn't make someone a bad person and if you read further they addressed that. You really needed to read further to get all of the perspective. I actually got inspiration from the godfather if you can believe it. Take Micheal Corleone. At the end when he said he's wrapping up unfinished business. That's what my character was doing taking out the organization that killed her father. Was Michael Corleone a lovable character? Probably not. Could we understand him? Yes. Why? Because we as the viewers understand that this is the life he was born into just like how my character was thrust into her life.

Hi, I was reading through my reviews and saw your comment and apparently there's no way to make a direct response to you, so I'm writing it here instead.

Anyway I wasn't criticizer the Title I was criticizing the Description.

I've never seen any of the Godfather movies, just so you know. But my point wasn't that I didn't understand her position, I understood it just fine. My point was that I can't muster up any sympathy for someone who gleefully dishes it out but then breaks down when they get blowback.

It's a like Kratos from God of War. He bitches and moans about his family while he'd been slaughtering other peoples families left right and center for years. He get's a small taste of his own medicine and he can't handle it. Because, you know, he's a shitlord. Witch is why I never finished that game ether.

Now I'm not saying that you can't/shouldn't wright a story about this kind of character, but that it's not for me and I wouldn't have started reading if it had a more in depth description.

Summary:

Fairly typical setup. Real world, everything is fine until one day a race of giants not unlike the humans of earth arrive. They aren't organized, in fact they don't even seem to be working together. Yet, in a matter of months most of the world is overrun. Most centers of civilization are wiped out, causing many people to flee to refugee camps. Years later, whilst humankind still struggles to survive, a mysterious organization has begun building special containment chambers to house the few caught. This story follows Ellis, a young man sent to question these captives. His mission is simple, find out what the giants know, find out where they came from, and determine whether or not each captive is too dangerous to keep alive...

This is my first serious story series, so I'm straying from overtly sexual content. But, as things pick up it'll get more interesting.

Hi, I'm not typically into evil giantess content, nor am I a fan of this scale. As it seems the only meaningful interaction giantesses can have with people that tiny are ether killing them or leavien them alone. But I have to say your story captivated me.

Even though the lead giantess character crossed the moral event horizon before the story even started your wrighting still made me feel a little sad when she died.

Though I saw her excape coming from a mile away.

Author's Response:

Thanks man! Glad you liked it, I hope you keep up with my new story as well. The whole moral ambiguity is really what I try to stress in my stories so I'd you like that then stayed tuned for more updates.

Summary:

Following from the perspective of a Japanese girl named Hibiki. The story takes place in an alternate reality where humans come in various sizes. Upon being transferred to a new school for tiny people Hibiki meets another girl her size who helps her open up and realize her own feelings.

Summary:

The first official partner series to The Masks of Gods this story will be an epistolary work following Soren (or "Enoch") a young miltiamen eager to join the ranks the Tattered Legion. Consisting primarily of letters and several first hand accounts, The Sons of Men will focus on broader societal themes not discussed in The Masks of Gods. Starting on the frontiers of the Pacific Northwest, Soren will face countless conflicts with his power-hungry leaders, desperate criminals, and of course a few malicious giants. Just a warning this will definitely deal with some more obvious, dark content and for those of you not familiar with me or my style the giantess content is meant to be much more implied and symbolic if that makes any sense.

Not much interaction but a nice start nonetheless. I prefer gentle giantess stories. I'm not sure there's room in your mythose to support that given what you've set up in the previous story but apparently there are all sorts. Maybe some of them have come to like us puny humans.

The situation in your stories kind of reminds me of a world I've been dreaming up. But aside from the ones who are just going around murdering everything in sight there are also some who set up there own personal fiefdoms. There is a conflict between the two groups because the destroyers keep killing off all the masters potential servants.

Anyway, I look forward to your next part.

Not much to say, exept that I enjoyed the interaction in this chapter. I'm wondering if maybe you aren't really that interested in this series as these chapters are quite a bit shorter than the ones in Mask of the Gods

Your description dose make me wonder about the gianesses home. Has she built a home out of mudbrick or something? That's the picture I had in my head.

It also leaves me wondering what she has planned for the little people.

Anyway, if you decide to do the super hero story, I'd rather an original character.

Author's Response:

Cool, thanks for the feedback! And yeah, I'm not as into this one as Masks, partially because I don't know what I want to happen and simply because the more I write for the new giantess the more I feel like I might end up writing another character just like Vera, which is not what I want at all. I will keep up with it but it will be sparser. Its also because I have quite a few other writing projects going on right now that keep distracting me. Nevertheless I will not give up on this story.

I have to say, this guy constantly referancing god is kind of peeving me. I think that if he were to ever have a conversation about his god with this giantess it wouldn't go very well for him. At best she would just laugh it off.

Author's Response:

That's sort of my intentionwith him. Unlike the last sorry I'm really hoping to make everyone hate all the characters in this one, for a specific purpose
