I usually don't like fantasy/rpg-like stories. Including those having demons and all.

But considered that this story was written by you, I just HAD to give it a go and I'm not disappointed! This was fantastic, as always! Even not being finished, I loved it!

And interesting plot twist at the end, the all bad half-demon now all submissive to the gentle, vampiric necromancer. I'm just  curious about why Remura is so gentle, if it's just her nature, something that happened previously and made her decide to go gentle or sort of both. Vampires are usually just mean and blood-thirsty, but Remura has a gentle, warm soul that more than compensates her colder physical touch.

Author's Response:

Ah, I tend to write a fantasy story every once in awhile. I think characters who can't rely on technology to save their own ass from a giantess are even more compromised and at her mercy.

I'm so glad you like my stories. I've written most of them a long time ago, but you and the others who read them make my day. I don't think my stories are so great as to touch a heart, though. I've read some fantastic stuff before and I'll still think about them years later.

I'm glad you like Remura, I liked writing her. I don't remember much about this story or her, so there's really no canon reason for why she's so caring. I suppose, since I'm the author, I should choose an answer. Remura was mostly a kind soul her whole life, and becoming a vampire was a traumatic experience because she didn't want to hurt anyone. Typically vampires are stripped of their humanity, or lose it over time from countless blood-starved feedings. Remura has made a conscious effort to retain her preferred personality, because if she loses that, she'll truly consider herself "dead."

Sounds cool to me, at least.

Mean is not the word I would use. Unhinged would be more accurate.

His reaction was also completely forced, which made no sense at all besides you wanting the story to take that turn.

Mind you, I'm not here to dive into the intricacies of a character's psyche, but this isn't good characterization.

Author's Response:

Unhinged hmm? I suppose I'm fine with that, as I don't want her to necessarily be mentally stable.

I just sit and type without any care, it's all just improv. But I'm going to roll with it, reactions don't always have to have a purpose or catalyst when someone's messed up in the head.

I do, somewhat, agree with you that this isn't good characterization, but I'm not a proper author, and on most of my entries and replies I'll readily admit that. Thank you for reading and reviewing, and leaving constructive feedback, but I'm unlikely to ever truly improve I think.

Should you wish to continue to keep up with the story as it updates, keep in mind it's very likely gonna be cringe to read through.

I really like Celeste's character, I hope to see more interactions from her.

On a sidenote what is the size of the MC? I don't think there is any info about his size anywhere and

will he ever shrink smaller? or will there be giants he will be interacting due to the titan tag(100-500 feet)

Author's Response:

I'll answer the size question first, since I feel like I really have been loose that part. I may have made it seem like he's multiple sizes up to this point, perhaps.

But he's small enough to swallow, which is an inch (or less)

That's what I'd prefer, at least.

And the titan tag is just there because that's what I felt like Shute's roommates' sizes would seem like to him during his perspectives. I might just un-add that and take away the titan tag.

But ultimately, if you like, just imagine he's whatever size makes most sense to you?

I'm not the greatest author by any means, and I apologize if there's any, uh... confusion I've caused (or will cause) lol

And thank you for leaving a nice review <3

And, I like Celeste too! I'll have to think of something new for her to do sometime.

Next chapter Remura will return and I might try to have something sweet written out for that. I don't feel like I've done her any justice yet.

What a really nice surprise!! I'm super happy to see another story from you so soon. This is really good so far, I already love your two main girls! Remura is super cute, and Celeste is just the right amount of mean, mixed with playfulness (and perhaps a secret sweet side?) I also always love a good fantasy setting. Hope to see more soon!

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review Pluto! I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I want them to accomplish for now. At the moment it's just some introductions to get the characters' personalities out in the open. Shute's probably my weakest point for now, he's not mentally invincible or anything but I don't want him to come across as a bitch either.

I want to return to some more Remura content in the next chapter, though.

And, yes. Spoiler alert: Celeste has a secret sweet side, she's probably never going to push things too far with Shute, but she does have some sort of a narcissistic personality, or god complex or whatever. She's going to want to exert her power over Shute in whatever way she can, merely for her own kicks, but she's going to have some self control.

Even this early, Shute's already noticed Celeste has yet to cause him any physical pain so far.

Thank you for reviewing, and also for being the first reviewer. I wish you well.
