Loved this story! Tho, I'm confused on the ending. Why were they called sacrifices if they weren't meant to die? Was all of this role play or something?? Is she some sort of god? Were they scared of being digested or just eaten in general?

It was all just a roleplay between a husband (Michael), his wife (Annie) and one of Annie's friends they had brought in and consensually shrunk (Cassie).
Fear has always been inexorably linked to the thrill of vore for me, but I don't find much sexually appealing about the digestion process, so having the characters pretend to be scared (and maybe even being a little scared, despite themselves) while actually being safe is sort of my way of having my cake and eating it too.
I tried to pepper hints of what was really going on throughout and keep the reveal as organic as possible, but this was the first time I've ever attempted a twist ending of any kind in my writing, so I'm not surprised it wasn't super clear. Setting to work on for next time.
I'm glad you enjoyed the story, though. I'm shooting for finishing up another one next month, so stay tuned!

It would be terrific if you continued it, with Cassie eating Michael, and perhaps Cassie then being eaten by Annie for the night.
Perhaps Annie, Cassie, and Michael could continue with Annie swallowing someone along with them; only Annie not regurgitating that person out, rather to pass the new person completely through her digestive system.
The part about Michael being inside Annie's pussy, covered and trapped within by her thong is HOT!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed. I didn't realize it was a kink of mine until I wrote the scene, but I agree that something about the giantess putting her underwear back on afterwards adds just a little bit of extra spice to an insertion scene.
My current plan for future works is to make interconnecting stories in this world featuring other characters, fleshing out the society and rules as I go. I've got two more stories cooking in the oven at the ment, and while these stories may bump up against Annie, Cassie, and Michael's, there aren't any firm plans for a direct sequel as of yet. I can't imagine there won't be one eventually though.
