Ten more chapters????? And, I just barely squeezed in _one_ more to update one of my wip's!

A true example of determination under pressure. Speaking of which: have you read that new story by Shrunken Scholar, yet? He's up to 31 chapters and counting!

Author's Response:

But what pressure was I under? Actually I just wanted to load chapter 124, so that I could post the sequel novel "Ann O'Malley - Mistress of Scientific Wonders."

And if you say Ann O'Malley fast enough, you get "anomaly". (Yes the first character introduced in chapter one of Captain Miniature now has her own book, and Spooky Taco's joined the reviewers, doing one for every chapter yet.). I suppose it's best for you to ignore the new story on Most Recent until you eventually finish this one, (except to access the hyperlink to this story of course).

I'm off to Most Recent to see if I can find your WIP update now... now that you've WIP'd err... whipped up another chapter or so.

"You're more than touched, Ms. Waters," replied Milo: "You're stark-raving nutters!"

[I've ALWAYS wanted to use that word! Ever since I first heard Pierce Brosnan use it on "Remington Steele."]

Author's Response:

Steele making good puns, then?

"Then, should I say 'adieu' or 'au revoir/' " asked Milo.

" 'Hors d'oeurve' would be more appropriate," replied Ms. Waters.

Author's Response:

or vores d'hoeuvre

"I believe dialog is at least as paramount to eating someone as deeds are."

"But, Ms. Waters; isn't it impolite to talk with your full?"

Author's Response:

Yes. So she has to say everything first... before he's in her mouth.

"Yes, Ms. Waters. I'd rather have the suspension. Because, I really don't have the taste for vore."

Author's Response:

And Suspension makes its way into the pun title for chapter 115

Poor Tommy! Once he was in her mouth, he obviously could not get "mushroom" to maneuver.*

*Somewhere a muted trombone goes "Wah-wah-wah-WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Author's Response:

I think that joke was used on the Muppets Brooke Shields 1980 (all Alice in Wonderland) episode. (But then again the muted trombone wasn't used).

Will that prize include a free autographed copy of DETERMINATION by Wildcatman?*

*This has been a shameless cross-plug.

Let's find out. LOL. I sent him this:

Carycomic's review above asks about you. LOL.

"The only way boys could her desire, appetize, was to shrink before her eyes, down to orally manageable size."

With deepest apologies to Dr. Seuss.

Author's Response:

The best thing to do

in lieu

of something new

is continue

to review

with puns too.

Naw! Julius Schwartz was simply of the belief that nothing was as eye-catching on a comic book cover as any kind of ape. Preferably on a motorcycle!

Author's Response:

Come to think of it there was a reprint special called Super Heroes VS Super Gorillas, with 4 of their best known heroes against apes.

Then there was Angel and the Ape, Congorilla, and so on. I'd say you're right.

"Yes," he replied: "Would you be mad if I had designed a sexy boudoir version of a leotard for you to wear...and named it after myself?"

Author's Response:

in which case his name might have been Leo Tardy

I don't know, Cap. But, the late, great George Carlin once observed: "Why do we call it 'occasional irregularity?' Of course, it's occasional. If it wasn't, it'd be...regularity!!!"

Author's Response:

Almost tortological

Nice pastiche of the Earth-Prime stories the late, great Julie Schwartz used to do, for DC Comics, in the Seventies and Eighties. The only thing missing was a puzzling primate (and a book cover to put it on; lol)!

Author's Response:

I must be tired. Who's the primate? Not Ultra Humanite or Grodd?

Oh, that's right. This is a parallel-Earth! So, Rhymescribe didn't do anything illegal. Not according to the laws of his world. He was more like an unwitting stockholder in AT&T (Australian Telephone and Telepathy).

Author's Response:

If he were alive today, Alexander Graham Bell would no doubt be laughing.

Rhymescribe?! If he published those case files illegally, he should more accurately called "Crimescribe." As for Skye Lark: if she's into vore, as Red Moll, then she's probably more of a "social chef," at this point.

Author's Response:

And if anyone's divorced, maybe his wife's maiden name is Alison Mony.

As for more doses of humor in my stories? See the latest chapter of LA GIGANTA Y EL PISTOLERO! This has been a self-serving announcement.

Nothing wrong with self-serves. Petrol stations over here all have them. LOL.

Heh! I love the time-honored plot device of dimension-hopper discovering he/she/it is considered a purely fictional character in some alternate universes.

Author's Response:

Which naturally I had to poke fun at. Actually I don't think DC were taking themselves that seriously when they came up with Crisis on Earth-Prime and Ultraa in the 1970s.
