Really enjoying it so far.  I was wondering when you'd get to his mom.

 

You've taken an brilliant angle with this.  He's surrounded by sympothetic and nuturing women but he's so conditioned to be a slave that any trigger sends him straight into hell.

 

I always dig your stuff but Blackmail I think is your Heart of Darkness.

Thanks, glad you like it. You've basically struck at exactly what this story will revolve around. While Jack is physically safe (at least for the time being), his mental state still won't let him rest.

I like Dr.Fenton and i like that she clearly cares about helping Jack.

 

And man, It can't be easy for Jack's mom to learn what Carly did to him. I really hope we see more bonding there.

For a minute there I was expecting Jack's mom to somehow be or at least the beginnings of a certain aspiring political matriarch.
