Fascinating. A frequent theme of size fantasy is that civilized respect for others is a fragile construct that collapses when a dramatic size difference is introduced. The implication is that humans are naturally hierarchical and will dominate the weak unless acculturated no to do so. In fact, human culture has codified all manner of hierarchical domination, slave societies being only the most blatant.

I love that May makes a distinction between anonymous Losers and someone with whom she had a peer relationship prior to the Bow. It's the (instant!  arbitrary!) transition between castes that makes this so tasty. May's parents educating her in how to treat Losers so wonderfully mirrors wealthy people in our society telling their children how they deserve their station and to look down on the bums and savages who won't get a job.

Best of all, Annie can't let go of how absurdly unfair this whole arrangement is. I hope she takes a LONG time to break.

This is amazing, the whole mechanism is amazing.

Great story but it is getting a little hard to figure out May's motivations.  She seems to ping pong from extremely kind to extremely cruel.

I look forward to seeing where she ends up.

I kind of enjoy the fact that both tiny and titaness kind have a bit of "See U Next Tuesday" in them.

A budding relationship perhaps.
