I remember reading this for the ButtyJuly contest, and I had wondered who had written it. I've always liked the idea of Borrowers/tiny people living among normal-sized people, and there are some wonderful descriptions in this story. You've given me an appreciation for size-concepts that I hadn't considered much before.

Thank you! As someone who's never had formal training in creative writing, I'm still grappling with the value of these exercises. So far it's been rewarding for me, but I can easily imagine finding myself uninspired and frustrated. What I'm really hoping for is some constructive criticism, aimed at improving the craft rather than did I scratch the reader's particular itch. For example, what new appreciations did I bring to you?
