Prologue

Michelle’s enormous form lay sprawled across the sandy beach, her titanic body stretching out under the vast night sky. The rhythmic sound of the waves crashing against the shore and the gentle caress of the ocean breeze would have been peaceful for anyone, but Michelle’s dreams were anything but serene. Her mind swirled with memories of her previous day’s rampage: the towering buildings crumbling beneath her feet, the tiny people scattering like ants, and the thrill of absolute power coursing through her veins.

In her dreams, Michelle wasn’t just limited to Southdale. She imagined herself striding through cities across the world, each step causing tremors that sent shivers down the spines of millions. Paris, with its iconic Eiffel Tower, seemed like the perfect playground. She could picture herself plucking the needle from the top of the tower and using it as a back scratcher, her laughter echoing through the Champs-Élysées. New York’s skyline would be a thrilling conquest, with her taking her rightful place in the iconic view. The Great Wall of China? Just a mere obstacle course for her colossal legs to stride over. The possibilities were endless, and Michelle’s dreams painted a vivid tapestry of global domination and delightful destruction.

The sand beneath her was a soft mattress, molding to her curves as she shifted in her sleep. The waves lapping at her feet were a soothing balm, a reminder of her size and power. She could crush entire city blocks without even thinking about it. The world was her playground, and she was its undisputed queen.

But as the sun began to rise, its golden rays pierced through her closed eyelids, dragging her back from her fantasies. She groaned, trying to shield her eyes with her massive hand, but the light was relentless. Another disturbance began to register—a low rumble that resonated through the ground, causing the sand to vibrate against her skin. The tremors grew stronger, each one more insistent than the last.

Groggy and annoyed, Michelle’s eyes fluttered open. Her initial thought was that the tiny people were up to something, perhaps another futile attempt to thwart her. A wave of irritation washed over her. How dare they disturb her sleep? She began to sit up, her immense form casting a long shadow over the beach.

As she adjusted to the light and the shaking ground, she spotted a massive shape blocking the early morning sun. The silhouette was enormous, at least as large as her, if not larger. Her heart raced, a mix of confusion and threat setting in. What could possibly be this big?

Blinking against the sunlight, the shape started to come into focus. A cascade of dark hair, a pair of striking green eyes, and a familiar, mischievous smile. Michelle’s initial threat transformed into shock, and then into recognition.

“Denise?” she murmured, her voice a blend of disbelief and curiosity.

Denise, towering and resplendent, stood before her, a giantess in her own right. Her laugh echoed across the beach, a sound that was both comforting and powerful.

“Morning, sunshine,” Denise called out, her tone playful.

Michelle got to her feet, her eyes still wide with amazement. “How…how did you…?”

Denise took a step closer, the ground quaking beneath her as she moved. “Saw you on TV, couldn’t help myself from joining in the fun.”

Michelle’s surprise turned into a grin. “How?”

Denise chuckled. “You have no idea. I was at an evacuation camp, courtesy of your  rampage, when it happened. One moment I was just me, the next I was growing like a weed after a rainstorm. Caused quite a stir, let me tell you.”

Michelle raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Oh, do share.”
