Summary:

A group of space mercenaries find a distant alien world. They pick up a distress signal while approaching and go to help out.

The planet is ruled by a dangerous giantess and a cult of devout believers. The inhabitants are either part of it or dead, with very little hope for resistance.

Story Notes:

This is mostly inspired by games I've played, such as UFO: Aftermath and the fact that I've seen the same formula used so many times in a GTS story, it would be a welcome change to have a story where the tiny heroes have a fighting chance.

The story is a mix of action with humour, so there are things you don't have to take seriously when reading. Especially when some characters interact.

I also won't go into much details about the universe, but there's a mixture of technology and magic within. There are also elements from other universes.

1. Chapter 1 - There are no peanuts on this flight by Stylesrj [Reviews - 2] starstarstarstar (2162 words)

This sets who our band of mercenaries are and establishes the main setting.

2. Chapter 2 - How dangerous can a cult be? by Stylesrj [Reviews - 0] (2690 words)

More establishing of the setting. Introduces the Cult and the first bit of conflict.

3. Chapter 3 - Knock knock. Who’s there? RAIDING PARTY! by Stylesrj [Reviews - 0] (2864 words)

After establishing the base, there's just a few things that needs to be done. A good raid is one of them.
