O hell dude. I wanted so much to see the continuation of this incredible story and I was afraid you would not continue writing it. Thank you so much for that.

Author's Response:

Thank you very much for the review, and I’m so sorry that you were worried about the story not continuing! It makes sense considering how long ago the last chapter was, but I promise that I have every intention to see this story to the end, and I’ll try not to have such a long wait for the next chapter. I’m going to work on it this weekend, so hopefully that will be enough time to finish it. Either way, I’m so happy to hear that you’re enjoying the story, and I hope you enjoy what happens next! Thanks again for the review.

Summary:

Tired of the giants' supremacy, Rennard, Milton, and Henry decide to strike back. Not trying anything too malicious, the three have a harmless prank in mind. However, they quickly learn how much things can spiral out of control, especially when giants are involved.

Set in a medieval style fantasy setting full of magic. Some plot, some action, lots of erotica. If you don't like feet stuff, this might not be for you, but the other tags make plenty of strong appearances (beginning of chapter 1 contains more specific directions on which chapters to look out for if you want things like insertion/mouth play).

I personally would like Henry and Ada to be in different terms. Basically, if Henry wanted to be with Ada, it was of his own free will. Slavery, while pleasant for Henry at first, will begin to dent his soul in the long run and when Ada no longer wants it she will dispose of him as a piece of trash. At that point I would like Henry to have the opportunity to leave if he wanted to. But knowing Ada, I don't have many illusions. Maybe that's why I didn't like that Henry lost to Ada, but not everything can be the bed of roses in a story on this site, right? What I would like is for Henry at some point to start fighting for his freedom before it's too late. Personally, I would not like this character to have a tragic ending even if it brings him pleasure. He seems too good a person to end up like this. That would be too cruel. I believe that life is not something so trivial as to dismiss it like that.

Summary:

A sultry thousand-foot-tall giantess who feeds on fear (and also people) satisfies her appetite in the city while her sweet normal-sized husband is conveniently out of town. Done as a commission.

LOL. I confess that I am not a big fan of stories of cruel giantesses destroying cities. But this one in particular caused me to laugh a bit because of the situations that Astraea sometimes finds herself in with moral conflicts about what her husband would say. So only criminals or felons are on the menu. The way Astraea deals with them is quite peculiar.

Let's see how this develops.

Author's Response: This is definitely meant to be a merging of tones, where the 'cruel' giantess would be much tougher on the city, if she wasn't concerned about her husband's feelings

Oh, wow. It's... wow, I'm speechless. I can't even imagine the amalgamation of emotions I felt when I read this chapter. Despite the way Alma expressed herself, something still made me feel sorry for her. It is that behind everything she said to her daughter, as you wrote Jack, there were traces of truth and simply Alma used these grains to plant the seeds of doubt and her twisted thoughts of her in her daughter. But I don't know, I felt sorry for Alma. Maybe it's because she pushes away the only person who could love her somehow I don't know... Wow, fantastic story. I didn't think you'd update it so soon Jack. And it seems that the long-awaited meeting between Bridget and Lexi is approaching. Another thing that surprised me... Jenna musical artist, seriously? Wow that introduces a personality trait of hers that she didn't know about. How mysterious is the soul of this character.

In short Jack keep it up. This Omega universe is really exciting and full of many good stories. Thanks for following this story, friend.

Author's Response: Alma may be evil by basically any standard, but she believes everything she says, and she knows how to manipulate people. And yes, while Jenna is intense, she has some complexity to her for sure. Thanks for reading.

IMHO Bridget deserves it. It is that we will no longer go into the subject of Kayla and her mind reading because she would have saved Lexi thousands of problems but hey... Why didn't Omega believe in her best friend? Even though she told him over and over that it wasn't her. Despite how overwhelming the evidence could have been, there are 3 things that I do not accept:

1- Suppose she had really been Lexi. Did Bridget seriously believe that she would not tell the truth of what she had done to her friend to save her time from torture? If Bridget really knew Lexi for so many years, as she said, she should know that if her friend didn't say so it was for something.

2- Why was the chewing gum evidence not relevant? If Lexi was in that alley and had traces of the chewing gum on her shoe, it implies that she did not clean them which means that traces of the skin, bones or blood of the Betas that she had allegedly beaten would have remained in the alley. And if these traces were not found then the story of those 5 was not entirely true. To top it off, there was one left to wake up and they didn't even bother to postpone the "Lexi sessions" until she woke up. It was easier, for the Omegas, to follow the evidence of a stranger (who by the way, no one bothered to investigate from the beginning) rather than the claim of innocence of an Alpha they had known for years. I don't blame Bridget for that, she's just an Enforcer after all, but I do blame Evelyn. I guess Lexi was just followed by her heritage. Ha ha ha

3- If it really had been Lexi, did the Omegas seriously believe that she would be so stupid? When you commit such a crime, in Ackbar's universe haha, everyone knows the consequences if the truth is found out. So it would have been easier for Lexi to erase all the evidence of the crime. It would be easy for Alma's daughter since she knew how Omegas worked and no one had to know.

So in short, why didn't Bridget believe her friend? Why does she treat her like she's just another crap Alpha who mistreats Betas? Why didn't the Omegas even bother to corroborate Lexi's version, as incredible as it was? Well Bridget there you have the consequences. You will have to live with it.

Author's Response: I'm sure Lexi has wrestled with some of these same questions. Thanks for reviewing

Wow, wow. I assumed that a meeting between Lexi and her mother would happen at some point in the story but I can't even imagine what Lexi would say to her mother after 12 years. Her mother taught her to carry out genocide against the Betas and Lexi was the victim of injustice because of one. Wow, that would kind of confirm in Alma's eyes what she told her daughter. And there are two fundamental facts, Alexandra's 'betrayal' of her mother and the fact that she has not visited in 12 years. Wow, I can't even imagine what those two would say except insults. We will see

Author's Response: It will most likely not be a lovey-dovey conversation

Brilliant. Very well captured and narrated the moment of Lexi's reunion with her adoptive mother. But I have a question: What is Sanctuary? Some kind of rehab center for Omegas or what?

Author's Response: Thanks very much. We'll learn what Sanctuary is soon-ish.

This month I have been reading the history of Inheritance and the initial part of Animus I don't know how many times in a row. Analyzing it and the truth is that I cannot stop reading it. I am one of those who immerse themselves in stories and try to draw at least one lesson or conclusion. What I always wonder is why Bridget was allowed to be the executor who carried out Lexi's sentence. Even in a conventional investigation, if a detective or criminologist from an investigation team has a sentimental relationship with a suspect, it is automatically removed from the investigation. As Evelyn said, what was Bridget trying to prove? In the long run it would hurt. even if Lexi had been guilty the damage would be done no matter what. Wouldn't it have been better for another executor to handle the case? Oh well, I guess Lexi being innocent was even worse because her own sister was the one who did her senseless harm. It was devastating in both ways. From what we see in this chapter, the feeling that her sister dehumanizes her and sees her as if she were an insect still remains in Lexi.

That is why I would like to see how the literary teacher Jacksmith solves these conflicts between the sisters. As Bridget told Lexi:

Please, please keep writing this story Jack. It is very good.

Author's Response: Glad it's been worth repeat reads. To be honest, this story isn't really going to deal with the logistics of why/whether Bridget should've been allowed to be Lexi's Enforcer in the first place, but obviously the overall story will be all about lingering conflicts.

You are right Kurogane335 in your assertions. I think the second thing you said was fine, Bridget believed with all her heart in the system her parents founded. That was her mistake, but it is normal after all it is not a perfect system but it is quite fair (given the situation of the universe in which it is framed) Even so, Bridget believed in that system more than she believed in her adoptive sister and although these contradictions are manifested in her being in the Inheritance story yet she should have at least given her sister some credit. Ask for the investigation, see if at least what Lexi said was possible. It's just that for some Omegas it's hard to see the flaws in the work when you just admire its magnificence. How quickly Evelyn realized that something was wrong just by remembering that Nathaniel's last name. But she was two weeks to realize in which her daughter had to make her sister suffer. But still I think Bridget is taking things very seriously. It is normal for her to suffer that way. It's not every day that you realize that you made the person you care about most suffer senseless. It's okay at first, but to separate completely from her sister? Not looking into her face again? I think that would cause more damage to both of them. Between good sisters everything is solved sooner or later.

As for the instantaneous size change, it remains to be seen if it is from Bridget or Lexi or someone else. It may be that Lexi, given her contacts with Kayla, will do any of the alternatives you mentioned. There is also the possibility that he asks her to be an Omega to share her sister's point of view and also become a champion of world justice (or worse, a cataclysmic force that consumes it hahaha. Although I doubt that Kayla will allow it). Although I think that with the fame that Lexi has (the apple never falls far from the tree) it is difficult for Kayla to grant it to her.

Author's Response: There are definitely meant to be some difficult shades of gray to deal with in Inheritance, and that will carry over into this story too

So that was it. Sanctuary is... like a refuge from what I understood and from its characteristics I think I wasn't so wrong before. It is a place of peace and relaxation for the mind. That haven is for betas apparently who don't want contact with alphas out of trauma or precaution. I think a reviewer at Inheritance said that when I was talking about Nathaniel and his purposes criticizing the mixed zone system. Although there are also Omegas, I think that their main objective is the Betas if their security is so strict. I mean, Lexi could only get through because she was authorized by Kayla. Interesting place, but from the look Bridget gave her adoptive sister, I don't know why I sense that this isn't going to be easy for either of them. I mean, assuming there's a solution. Jack gave us some hints, Chapter 2 Lexi's ghostly appearance, "She could never afford to appear in Lexi's presence", Bridget did, her sister appeared in her presence Chapter 4 Bridget's upset when she broke up her sister's house by mistake Imagine how she feels now after unfairly hurting her sister all because of "unwavering loyalty to the mission of the Omegas". Let's see if she fixes these sisters' relationship at least to some extent. Although it will be difficult.

Author's Response: Yes, that is basically Sanctuary. Mainly a Beta haven with a limited number of Omegas and approved Alphas. Whatever happens next will indeed not be easy for anyone.

Oh wow, what an intense chapter. I don't know what effect it will have on Bridget though. Lexi is either a good sister... or a really terrible one. Bridget must have been scared to death. Luckily Evelyn didn't go into Sanctuary with her or things would get worse. It's like a step by step but this really was a very difficult one assuming it worked.

Evelyn will probably put Lexi in an asylum after this haha

Author's Response: This is a case where it may have taken some extreme measures to make anything happen on Lexi's part

Damn suspense xd. I think we are reaching if not the climax at least a crucial moment in this story. Bridget seemed very determined that her solution would be the final one but I don't think what I'm thinking of happened in such a short amount of time. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens. Jacksmith is not a predictable author at all and I suspect that he has a surprise prepared for us hahaha

Author's Response: "Crucial moment" is a good way to put it.

The suspense again... this is getting more and more interesting. Will Bridget ask Lexi to give her a session? But Lexi doesn't know how to inflict "pain that causes empathy with those you hurt." She got over that pain when she was out for two years. Not to mention that inflicting that pain on her sister is…so hard for her. Let's see what it will be in the next chapter.

Author's Response: These are definitely fair considerations to have, if Lexi was put in a position like that.

Oh, wow. It is what we imagined. I start to think and when I read this it reminds me of Melody's case with her sister Ashley. The Omega was unable to do what the Aegis Enforcers did. And yet she reluctantly had to discipline her sister. Bridget launched a spear at her sister. Do you prefer someone else to do it? WOW Although good in theory if that happened that Alpha would have to be caught and placed with an Omega. Oh Lexi what a titanic task, you will have to suffer what Bridget suffered doing this or worse. Since at least your sister did it thinking that she imparted justice but in your case... you don't have that escape. Who knows if the remedy will be worse than the disease.

The other funny thing is that Lexi studies Bridget's manual. A document known only to Aegis Enforcers in its preparation. But could Lexi read it? I mean, there are no issues like the size of the book? The Omega books must be huge in size for an Alpha. Someone would have to help Lexi with this task. And good to recommend Lexi to focus only on Class C sanctions lest the A is read and the unthinkable happens. :)

I would like to know what Lexi's acquaintances think of this. Especially Evelyn. Or will she stay secret? Let's see.

Author's Response: At least some of these considerations you have are answered in the next chapter. Thanks for reading.

Reviewer: kenrios Signed starstarstarstarstar
Date: December 12 2022 Title: Chapter 18: Corporal

Well, it wasn't as big as I supposed would be Bridget's manual. And from what I can see it is only the beginning. I would have liked Lexi to follow Bridget's instruction and go to the advanced part if was only for a moment. I mean... if the columns of Did you know? rom the Beginners area horrified Lexi I imagine she would faint if she read the horrors committed by Alphas that gave rise to these advanced punishments. Well if Lexi can't lean on Evelyn I guess she could trade some experiences with Jenna, you know... Enforcer to Enforcer. The most enthusiastic Enforcer in all of Aegis with the first and only Alpha Enforcer in all of Aegis history. Hahaha it's a joke.

In retrospect considering the manual I would say that Bridget was soft with Lexi not doing more damage than necessary or at least that's what I understood. It was still huge but I guess this last consideration will somehow affect Lexi's determination. Let's see what happens in the session.

Oh wow, this time it's for real. The advanced part of that book is… oh my Kayla. This is getting very serious. Lexi is considering sending her sister to her...? No, it can't be, it's just the nightmare in chapter 2. Although that time in the palette, Bridget did something similar. But if Lexi really does it, it would be I think... the encouragement that Omega would need or what would definitely end their relationship. I like how Bridget compares her sister to a real Enforcer without having passed a course on it. That meeting with Jenna... umm, could it be that she gave her some recommendations :D?. Nah, just kidding. What I mean is that progressively Lexi's thinking is more like that of an Omega.

Certainly a chapter full of a lot of tension. God, you could feel the pressure on Lexi as those three looked at her. And then the presence of Alma's ghost in Lexi's mind. It was an exciting chapter, well written. Keep it up, Jack.

Reviewer: kenrios Signed starstarstarstarstar

I think that a good therapy for both sisters could be a meeting with "that child" again. If we look at the facts, they remained unfinished for Tyler. I mean, Lexi was lucky enough to find a family but Nathaniel wasn't and it was brutally taken from him which led to the events of Inheritance. Always caused by lack of understanding and hatred. I think that if Lexi wants to get her mother off her back and put a tombstone over her image, she has to forgive Nathaniel and vice versa. Maybe it's the only way for that persistent voice, no doubt produced by the hatred and mental nails her mother placed on her in her conversation in Jenna's tank, to go away. It's just my opinion but as Lexi thought trying to correct errors with more errors has not exactly produced the expected results.I think that is approaching the conclusion of this story that has kept us in suspense for more than 8 years. I hope it's not the end of the Omega universe either. I am not such a good writer but I would like this universe not to die, it is very good and gives us a good message. Keep it up Jack.
