Summary:

     Welcome to the stories of Shrinker82. This archived list is a collection of previews from my works of fiction including past, present, and future works, so that everyone reading this is aware of not only the stories that I’ve already posted, but my current and future projects as well. These previews give me a chance to tempt you all with little snippets of events you’ll see in their respective stories, and will hopefully start developing interest into which upcoming stories you’d like to see first. My next major project/novel is Little, Big Brother! (see the preview below) However, over the next couple of months, I’m going to be doing some prep work with some smaller projects. These projects are going to allow me to hone some interactions that I want to use in my upcoming novels; that way, I can get constructive feedback and improve my writing so that my larger projects will be of the highest quality.

Summary:

     After Tim mistakenly drinks a mysterious, secret potion his mother brought back from a research trip to the Amazon, he winds up shrinking down to a mere 1-inch tall; now, while his mother frantically works to formulate a cure for her tiny son, Tim is stuck at home in the care of his aunt, who starts taking full advantage of her nephew’s “little” condition.

12/3/2024 — The first set of Friday chapters are now updated and posted. I know everyone has been waiting patiently for new material instead of just getting rewrites, but being the perfectionist I am, I’m working hard to get them just right. I really do hope everyone enjoys and appreciates the effort. I’m hoping to have the remaining Friday and Saturday chapters, plus the long awaited epilogue completed by the start of the new year.

SPOILER ALERT:

     So, one of the more common complaints in the reviews I’ve received concerns the ending of the story: I agree the whole discipline thing is a bit out of character based on how I wrote Natalie and developed her character over the course of the story, which is one of the reasons I chose to start doing rewrites.

     Now, I would like to remind all of you that the initial intention of this story was more about hashing out scenarios and situations for my larger stories rather than character and story development, so I would ask that you all be a little forgiving on the plot. That being said, I also realize that this story has kinda evolved quite a bit from its original premise, and that you all have become emotionally involved in the characters and are expecting a high-quality story. With that in mind, I’m going to do my best to rework the ending a little bit; I want it to pretty much stay the same situationally, but I want Natalie’s intentions to fit more with her character. I think this will also help transition into the epilogue and the eventual sequel I’m looking to write in the future.

     In any case, thank you all for your input, and keep submitting those suggestions and feedback.
