I must say, some of the plot sounds like a parody of GTS/feet stories ("the principal is a woman between 25 and 45 as most of them are") so I'll wait to see just how tongue-in-cheek this story turns out to be. Does the protagonist encounter either tongue or cheek during his adventures?
It's entirely a parody. (My goodness, if anyone takes me seriously here, I'll be deeply depressed.) Consciously a parody of three different stories mixed together.
I'll pick on some other stories in the next chapters, if I go on with it. There will be lots of tongues and cheeks, and tongues in cheeks. Ass or vore next chapter.

This came from a comment Holly made, early in Adela, about the connection between Adela's immaturity/inability. It's a strange remark, and I didn't really understand it myself until a few days ago. As far as the origin of these powers, I'd keep to keep that secret mostly to myself.
There're possibilities: 1) ! Science ! ; 2) Genetic predisposition; 3) The intercession of some divine being; 4) An extension of that idea -- Some post-apocalyptic winnowing. Etc. Each of these are intriguing, in their own ways, but I like the seduction of the mystery, or of any combination of mysteries, in this case, more than any one answer.

This is a phrase I wish I had written:

Those three/four paragraphs were added yesterday, after the rest of the stuff was finished. Reading it over, I wasn't satisfied with it, and couldn't figure out why. So I thought about that dream/foreshadowing sequence, and it seemed to balance out rest of the chapter in a couple ways. (Although, I'm encouraged by your response, because I wasn't sure exactly how readers would respond to it, and was a little nervous. The point was to encapsulate the fet-portions of the story in as few words as possible.)

Thanks. The vibe I got for the main narrative was that of some Swiss canton between 1000 - 1200 (so that would put the outer story between 1600 - 1800), but I guess it could also happen anywhere/anytime. Definitely mostly atmosphere in this story -- atmosphere and distance. Some gross stuff. A lot of irony. Maybe a little bit of wistfulness or disillusion. Hopefully not too heavy-handed, though.
Now back to Holly. I'll try to punch that out first, before anything else.

Heh. Well, in that case, he'll have to wait a couple thousand words (there's a long dry spell early next chapter, fetishwise). Really, those fetish scenes are -- by a long shot -- the hardest part of a story for me. Except for the vore ones, which I do more or less on autopilot. (And it's strange because, hearing other people talk, you'd think they'd be pretty damn easy.)
This is an all new story idea of mine that I'm interested in expanding and seeing where it goes. My good friend Valerie faces issues of her own when she can't find the perfect woman for her and I'm about to learn the hard way what love can truly be, after the result of a unique curse.

The rivalries among the girls make this an especially intriguing premise. Yes, a shrunken girl with spunk! Why can't they get rid of her? Why did they choose her? Is their relationship hate-hate or love-hate? So many questions...
There relationship is very complex. There is a past with these girls I will be diving into.
There are all sorts of things that the rich take for granted.
There is a whole industry of "we can fix your troubled teenager" clinics that would gladly use shrinking technology if it existed, and charge parents an arm and a leg while breaking arms and legs. Great story!
While enjoying a little self-bondage, Jennifer's apartment is visited by some tiny invaders.
The tinies are sympathetic, and you feel so badly for them, you almost want them to do something to Jennifer... great job.
