This is where I always get frustrated with these types of stories. 'Shew wouldn't be convicted of murder' so instead of doing the right thing and potentially saving herself a lot worse legal trouble by covering it up, she more or less sells the wife into slavery?

I mean really, that's just silly, and surely an investigation could easily find out that Samantha was the last person with them.

So frustrating.

You are correct and to be honest the thought never crossed my mind to have Samantha release Taylor. I do think that someone like Samantha would not exactly being thinking rationally in this case though.

I have to admit, though I am really not a fan of rampage and mindless crushing, for a satire piece, it's actually pretty good, especially with a case a few months back here in the US where a young man killed four people while driving under the influence and got away with a slap on the wrist, the judge citing that because of his privileged upbringing, he didn't know the consequences of his actions.

Liz happens to invoke the same feeling of disgust and anger in me that that case did, so that does say something. Personally, I'm hoping to see the President of the US make some sweeping changes and put the giantesses in their place, but that's just me.

I admit I only really skim-read it, mainly because of the gore (Saw enough of that in real life), but it's still a well put together story.

I might have missed it in my little binge read (My tablet is terrible for long term reading), but how do the giantesses view tinies? On one hand they are 'defending' them, then using those not in the cities as experiments. Otherwise a great read. I like stories that aren't just smut, and the story progression and the world building is great! Look forward to seeing more!

It varies from giantess to giantess.

Some are like Isabella and view tinies as people and themselves as soldiers sworn to protect them. Others, like Lutice, view them as nothing more than their playthings.

I am a tad confused about Anna swallowing that man. Is Linda really not going to report that? Sure, it might not count as cannibalism if Anna didn't chew, but it would surely still count as murder in some degree? Unless it was some weird consensual thing between Anna and the male, which I imagine would require documentation of some sort.

Summary:

This is the third and last part of the Side Effects trilogy.

Volume 3 takes over right after the end of Volume 2.

After having been reduced at the end of Volume 1, Kelly, Lisa and Casey are giant again in Volume 2, this time in a big city. They are all 250' tall, but Kelly has known for some time what's the force behind their growth. Fearing that her plans of using her size to rule and have fun are threatened by her former friends, Kelly will make herself much bigger than them and lets them know that she will be the one in charge from now onwards. She is tired of Lisa's naiveté and Casey's mindless violence.

At the end of Volume 2, Kelly uses her newfound size to defeat an army attempt at her and destroy the research center that could threaten her power. Once she is done, she sets on a quest to take over the world. This is what she will try to do in Volume 3.

Left behind, Casey will set herself on a mission to become as big as Kelly, to be the one on top again. In the meantime, Lisa will try her best to stop her former friends and protect her family.

I'm very interested to see how things with Kelly progress. She seems like she has some decent ideas, and it is very refreshing to see a giantess of her size actually doing something constructive with their size and power instead of just mindlessly destroying things.

And I am very interested to see how she deals with the other two, or if they might become bigger problems then she thinks they are.

Thanks! Kelly does have decent ideas and she has big plans for the world. She definitely sees herself as a positve force thing for humanity. Of course, that contrasts with her methods and the delusional state she has got into. Trying to explore this balance and Kelly's constant evolution is one of the most interesting aspects of writing Side Effects and especially this volume 3.

Casey and Lisa will also have an important role in what remains of the story (about half of it), of course.

I'll be very interested to read what you think about the progress of the story. Please, let me know as I release new chapters.

Interesting. So she is now shrunk, but it seems she may well be super powered, in a sense. The world can't catch a break it seems, though its far better then her being a giantess I suppose, XD

Well, she's not THAT super powered. She is quite stronger and faster than the average person, but not in a kryptonian scale. So, definitely, the world is much better off with Casey as she is right now than it was with her as a giant.
