I wasn't entirely sure how you were going to execute this as I started. When she said it was the first time, I guess I assumed she had gotten him out and then eventually ate him again. But the second she mentioned she'd digested him, I realized what was up, and that we were sort of being told as the audience and prospective meal how her first time with vore had gone.

Really fun story! You certainly do well in instilling the emotional state of the prey in the reader. Even though I knew full well what to expect for the poor guy, your depiction of Dr. Copper and her wiles is so thrilling! You may or may not have intended for this, but between her seeming "selection" process of this particular horndog and her "powers of suggestion" put on display in your other story: "a disappointed fiancée's hunger," Dr. Madeleine Cooper gives me subtle Dr. Hannibal Lecter vibes. Using knowledge of human psychology to manipulate people into doing what they want out of sheer interest and an unconventional appetite? Unintended parallel? Either way. I love her as a predator. The whole "therapist vore" thing has been done before to good effect. But Dr. Cooper is a fun twist on it. A repeat offender. You could get some serious mileage out of her before it became repetitive by tapping into different psychological scenarios. Hypnotism. Reverse psychology. Etc etc. I digress. Great work! Love your writing.

I didn't consciously base Dr. Cooper on Hannibal Lector, but they both definitely follow a similar tradition: manipulative, self-serving therapists who use their savvy to get their helpless patients to do what they want them to. That's definitely one element of what makes her such a good pred for me, but the other is the level of trust that patients (or a student, in this case) are meant to place in their therapist. A therapist is supposed to be someone you can put absolute trust in and be emotionally vulnerable in front of, and she abuses that to manipulate and eat them for the sake of her own sex drive! It's such fertile ground for betrayal scenarios.
If you like Dr. Cooper, you simply must read The Shrink by BunnyWrites (and several other amazing stories she'll be posting in the future). We came up with the character together, but I credit Bunny with doing the legwork in developing her deliciously cruel, uncaring, lustful personality. That story is Madeleine at her best, and from the sound of things you would absolutely love it. Tell Bunny I sent you!

Ryan lives a normal life for a tiny: he works online, he keeps in shape at the local gym, he games online with friends he never meets, and he tries his best to avoid getting stepped on. Of course it was just his luck that the apartment he lived in got foreclosed on and now he’s been evicted.
Thankfully one of his online friends, Lena, offers to let him crash with her. Of course, having never met, Ryan doesn’t know she’s a bit bigger than he thinks.
Note: There will be no deaths in this story.
Well, well, well! Look who decided to regale us with a lovely, long-form, gentle romance!
I was terribly happy to receive your review on "borrowing a bite," and checked out your profile to see if you'd written anything because I figured we had similar interests. I was a little sad to see you hadn't. So, Imagine my delight when I logged on less than a week later only to learn that suddenly you had dropped a gentle story with a vore tag! What's more, by the time I got around to reading it, there were TWO chapters totaling around 15K words, and it looks like you're only getting started! I'll just say, when the content is engaging and the build up is enticing, there's really nothing like a good "slow burn" as you described it.
Furthermore, you've made a point that you're entirely opposed to fatal vore stories, and I have to say, even though I sometimes include fatalities in my writing, gentle/willing/safe is my ultimate favorite content to consume and there's dreadfully little available compared to the alternatives, so I'm thrilled to see you delivering on the sort of stuff that you, yourself would prefer to read. "Be the change you wanna see," and all that.
Regarding this story specifically; I love how simply relatable it is for a young adult in this era. I thoroughly enjoy the interactions and your attention to detail. You've got us all enthralled! (18 reviews on a mere two chapters in less than a week?!) you've certainly stricken a special chord with many of us like-minded saps, it seems. I think I speak for many when I say we can't wait to read more!!
That all said, I'm all about being patient and allowing you to take as long as you want or need to deliver on this wonderful set up. It's like you said regarding my story; burnout is all too easy to slip into. That in mind, I have to say that your story is inspiring me to return to certain abandoned (paused) projects.

Yes, hello! I'm glad you were able to find this story and that you're liking it so far! I actually held out my hands at the screen and said "Xiao!" when I saw your review. I certainly wasn't expecting such a welcome reception to my first story here (from you and 6000 others), but I'm not about to complain.
It was actually your story that made me buckle down and get this out in writing. I actually went through your favorites to see what else you might have found that I hadn't. But, I ran out of stories to read and it got me thinking about ideas I'd had over my time in this community. It's one of those ideas that has been bouncing around inside my head for a couple years, so I'm glad I was able to sit down and write out something that uses those ideas.
I'm a "you do you" sort of guy, so while I don't like fatal vore, I'm not about to try and get other people to not like or write it (though I do wish there was a death tag, so I knew where not to go). Unfortuantely, fatal everything is very prevelant in this fetish. So, as Thanos said: Fine, I'll do it myself.
I wanted a world that wasn't super fantasy, and was easy enough for my characters to live in. I wanted to focus on these two almost exclusively, so haveing a discord-like chat that I could use to have them interact with others early on was something that just sort of happened that worked out. Hitting a balance between giving readers all the details they could want while understanding what details Ryan or Lena would pick up on has been difficult, but they tend to focus on important things, so that's worked out for me. I'm glad to have struck a chord with these two!
While I have yet to hit burnout, its been very easy to get myself writing this story. The downside is that its been a little too easy, to the point that I can't NOT write at times. But, I deal with it, usually by playing For Honor or something stressful. I wanted to have chapter three out tonight, but while proofreading what I had already written for the unfinished chapter, I added about 2000 words in the middle, throwing off my hope to tomorrow at the earliest. Once I get these two dorks to the end of the day, I'll go back and proof-read to see if anything needs to be added, romoved, or reworked then check for errors. Then, and only then, can I post it.
I do hope me being inspired by you inspires you right back, because that'd be pretty poetic. Whatever you unpause, I can't wait!

This is proceeding wonderfully! I love every chapter! And while I really cannot wait to see the romance between them blossom, I know that it will be all the sweeter for having had so much savory development between the two. I am beginning to feel heavily invested in their relationship and want it to go well! I can feel their nerves as they work through their near-identical feelings and fears with regard to one another. It's good stuff! And even better, I just know that whenever you do eventually get around to exploring lewdness between them, it'll be well-earned and entirely organic feeling. I can hardly wait! But I'm also thrilled to see you taking so much care in filling these characters and their relationship out naturally before diving into such things. I can tell you cut your teeth on writing other fiction before.
I enjoyed every conversation and every scene. I especially appreciated their little accident near the end. I imagine it will provide interesting fruit for conversations later! Or at least food for Ryan's thoughts!
Anyway still a 10/10. Relishing the slow burn. And shocked and impressed at so many words per chapter in so little tone, though I can relate to the process.

Thank you again for another splendid review! I'm happy to hear that people are really vibing with Ryan and Lena's relationship, they're surprisingly easy to write, even if I have to push them a little bit to get them places in a timely fashion. One thing I knew I wanted to do with this story was to flesh out a relationship before diving into anything, so thats my focus here.
As for the word count, it's usually a combined total of about 10 hours mixed between writing, proofreading, and editing. It can be a bit much and I'm taking the day off (mostly).

Hey! This was pretty good! There's a sore lacking of generally gentle, original, mature content in this community so I really appreciate seeing it when I do! I like worlds in which bigs and smalls just coexist and it's natural. It really helps get past the "oh my god, how'd you get so small" stage.
Minor syntactical errors here and there and a few cumbersome sentences/paragraphs that I found a tad difficult to follow, but overall this was certainly a fine story. (I do think you wrote "Jerry" instead of "Jeffrey" at one point.)
As far as the "it was all just a dream" thing. Well, they both clearly like each other. So. If you planned to continue this in another story or chapter and we can see them pluck up the courage to approach each other irl, id love to see it! Otherwise, I feel amazingly teased for this having been a perfectly explicit story. Lol.

'If you did, I might be tempted to keep you in there and take you home with me.'" -- I know that she's probably just being a good, flirtatious host for the sake of her client, but damn I want to see that kind of relationship blossom between these two! So tantalizingly sensual!
Anyway. My review isn't just gonna be copy-pasting your writing and reacting to it. I read this story a week or so ago and have been meaning to give it some feedback, but those two lines in particular stood out in my memory. This story was very fun. Well-written and a wonderfully simple yet engaging setup allowed you to give us just enough world and character establishment for the subsequent interactions to feel meaningful, while not taking too long to get to in what's a very steamy, well-paced, sultry smut story. I seriously dig the whole thing.
As someone constantly slacking on writing his own sequels and subsequent chapters to stories I know folks are waiting on, I'm still going to be a hypocrite and beg you to continue this story. It's positively bursting with untapped potential that I just know you established on purpose. I don't want to even list the ideas you inspired because it's obvious that you have your own. (Though I will say that there's a decided lack of my favorite content, willing/gentle vore, in this community and it really seems like you've set up the main character to be amiable to such activities).

To be honest, I basically wrote this as a worldbuilding exercise so I was worried that I got a little too into the weeds with the worldbuillding, so I'm glad that it didn't bog down the story. I tried to approach it as a plot first and porn second story, to kinda let the smut kinda evolve organically so I'm glad the buildup felt natural. I'm also a fan of consensual gentle vore as well, and that's definitely one of the ideas I have a for a sequel.

This was a very sweet, short, and enjoyable read. I'm always excited to see gentle vore content, and I think that the gummy-durability is underutilized in the community. My only issue here is that it's really not a vore story. So unless you plan to continue it to that end, I'd recommend removing the vore tag, as it's a tad misleading. But this was a lovely little mouth play story, and I'd love to read more of it or more like it!

Hi there! I’ve been avoiding reading reviews for this one because I didn’t want anything spoiled. I intended to leave one to say my thoughts at the end of chapter 6, but you pretty much wrote exactly what my expressed desires would have been, and now I’m hesitant to make any predictions or suggestions whatsoever because I am more inclined to trust that I very closely share your tastes! And it’s more fun to be surprised by your creative inspirations than to endeavor to guide them with mine (I can just write my own darn stories for that).
Anyway, I’m loving this story so far. Gentle/safe/willing vore is absolutely my favorite around, and I always remark on how shamefully little there is when I truly feel like it’s more realistic that people wouldn’t want to hurt or kill each other for cheap thrills (not that I’m against fatal. Everything has its place).
I enjoy the rapidity with which their mutual affection blossomed, I love that they went for it, and I like that there’s some risk involved because that just increases the thrill. Though I think it would be hours before any real damage could be done, I also get that most young adults gulping down their crushes aren’t biologists. Lol.
Before this meanders too long, I’m very much looking forward to more chapters from this! I cannot wait to see Beck and Simon’s relationship grow and to see what Milla thinks about it, if she wasn’t secretly hoping they’d become an item anyway and left them alone on purpose due to secret suspicions about her roommate’s tiny “interests.”

I absolutely agree that there's a dearth of G/S/W vore out there, on this site and others. Like your "Borrowing a Bite," I wanted "Fear and Delight" to be a romance first and erotica second; that meant that the characters had to learn to trust each other and genuinely care about the others' wants and needs and safety.
(And yes, I know that Simon would've probably been quite safe inside Beck for at least a few hours, but Simon gave her a 5-minute window of guaranteed safety and she cares too much about him already to risk more than that, the sweet girl).

So last time I read a story from you, I think it was… Martha? Martha was the ‘pretend to be kind’ woman who only preyed upon men who changed their minds. It’s been a while. But you’ve always had a real gift for delivery and for capturing the really predatory and sultry aspects of this whole thing, and the forbidden dish saga was something I relied on while I was abroad and it’s always been great. This one in particular, I loved, because willing is my absolute favorite scenario, and you did a really good job as I would expect in setting a truly enthusiastic prey apart from the others even for a woman who only partakes in the willing. You still managed to subtly address the whole “dark secret” often disregarded or simply unspoken about the restaurant; namely, shrinking is a one way act. I tried to embody that a bit in my first story on here and I tend to think it was a little influenced by you. You’re your own person until the moment you let them shrink you, then it’s final. Very darkly erotic.
I’ve often wondered what’s really stopping someone from leaving with a tiny alive in their belly and extracting them later. Has to happen sometime right? But you seem focused on the finality of the act and I always respected that and knew what I was getting into.
Just discovered you on DA. Any other willing vore stories? Kinda my jam. Fatal or not.
Anyway. Great execution all the way through. 10/10 as always. Only got stopped up one one typo. “Award moment” Vs awkward. You’re such a good writer I wondered if I was just missing something. Lol.

As you pointed out, so many of the patrons and staff at the Forbidden Dish are cruel or drunk with power. There are comparatively fewer stories of kind, friendly women engaged in consensual vore with eager, tiny people. Recognizing this delinquency in the narrative of the Forbidden Dish universe, I chose to write this story. There's something delightful about the concept of having a polite, civilized discussion with someone who is about to eat you, or whom you are about to eat. I was glad that Like and Trissa both had such a chance.
"Award moment," ought to have been "Awkward moment." It was a typo. I really need to get some writing software rather than try to proofread these things myself. Thank you for pointing it out.
