Wow. Great start, and I can't help but love Matthew being a dick. He's just that type of character, ya know? I also dislike Kim slightly, but maybe I'm just fucked up like that.

Thanks. Usually, he doesnt have to deal with his siblings arguing like that, because they both have equal access to him at home, but once he's in the outside world, a lot of MAJORS could get their hands on their elder brother... So Alejandro has to put those upstart youngster back in their place !
Wow. I had such a high opinion of Shannon. Now... I just don't know how I feel. This is really dark, like you said, but I think its so well-written and genuinely adds so much to Shannon's character that it shouldn't be edited out. I mean, I love violence as much as the next guy, but even I can't help but feel like its so fucked up what Shannon is doing to her family. Anger-driven Shannon is a helluva force to be reckoned with. Jesus Christ.
And what happens if she gets angry with Alejandro? Is she really going to be able to refrain herself from anything like this with him? Will Alejandro even consider Shannon an option or be able to look at her if he finds this out? This is so, very fucked up, and I love every second of it.
Ranting aside, great chapter as always, and I can't wait to see the next one!

Damn. Her father pretty much expressed what I wanted to in the best way possible. This chapter has definitely livened things up, and I'm slightly glad that Shannon realized how much damage she really caused yesterday.
God damn it I came here to fap not get so emotionally invested into a story. I do love the two chapters ina day though, makes my snow day here in NYC that much better!

Truth been told... I like happy ending. Bitterweet ones can dampen my mood for days, bad ones make me really sad so I can't really read a story which doesn't end well, no matter how good it can be.... Hmmm, I'm really liking the aspect of the conspiracy theorists. I mean, if people are dumb enough to believe the Earth is flat, then they're probably kinda justified in thinking Zava is a fake. Solid chapter as usual!
That angle really is important for the following chapters... obviously it's not convenient for our couple if people keep doubting her existence... they will have to prove them wrong.

Honestly, one of my favorite parts of this story are the aliens talking at the end as they provide a whole new POV and insight that I might have missed. Other than that, the bit of crushing gore and gentleness keeps this story flowing well. Great job on this chapter, and I'm excited for the next!
Thanks! I'm glad that you enjoyed the chapter. The bit with the conversation between the aliens at the end of each chapter is one of the parts of the story I felt would be more original when I was planning it. It was not always obvious to include the comments, but overall I believe it has been a nice addition to the story, since it allowed me to use the aliens to explain some of the behaviors and changes in attitude of Laura that otherwise would have been only implied (and it helped me not to have to abuse the figure of the omniscient narrator).

I honestly don't like the writing style, it is hard to follow and very choppy. And don't even get me started on the formatting.
