Damn I think I'm a Alexsexual now. No but seriously out of many giant girls on this website, Alex seems pretty compassionate by comparison (not saying a lot though). 

Jake maybe could have survived if he played psychologically games with Alex. Like "if you keep me alive I'll be your greatest supporter and fan. Don’t hurt your best fan, who'll root for you and fluff you up in your darkest/moodiest times." "Are you doing great in math, history, science, etc I can help get them grades up." Or maybe it was an inevitable fate to die pressed against his bully's sexy, sweaty tomboy foot.

Anyways, his parents could definitely survive this more than he could if they plead to Alex's heart (lol) that they’re worth significantly more alive and not be uncaring about their health like Jake (meaning NO cheesy gunk toes). And even beg her to let them bury their son as a final act of compliance and submission. 
Nice story though. Wonder what’s next

This is one of the few stories I keep looking forward to read and you keep delivering every single time.

The pacing is perfect, you know how to keep me invested in these characters while also moving the situations forward, adding more for the readers to devour. 

As for your question. In my opinion; it’s your story, we, the readers are here to read your story, so I say you you go with your gut feeling because we will be here.
