I love how Regan's condescension and control of Ash doesn't seem to come from a place of sadism or a cheap thrill. It's more just "well how else would you treat someone who is basically a child?"

The almost casual friendly banter between Regan and Ash at home in chapter 1 contrasted with her "we're in public, you do what I say for your own good" attitude in chapters 2-3 is a lot of fun

Now it seems Luna's ascension has begun, or at least that's what I think. And btw this story is great. I just love reading it. Can't wait to see what happens next.

The Ascension at hand! Wow, you're right about unascended women and men getting treated like kids, their finances are managed by thr ascended, Ash had to live in fear of getting hurt by girls, sounds dangerous to be a man or unascended woman in this world but I sense this story is just beginning.
