Fantastic story, which seems to be the norm from you. Hope to see this continued.
Poor Luna. That doctor either lied about the effects on her personality or really had no idea. Her friends just don't seem to understand either, because they've lived their lives ascended. If she's not careful, she'll slowly drift away from being the person that he fell in love with. She encouraged his more independent nature before, but now she's tricking him out of it, realizing she's doing it, knows it's not right, but is doing it anyways. She needs to learn to better control herself, or she's liable to try turning Ash into an obedient little "pet" like that man at the hospital. It might even happen slow enough that she doesn't realize it's happening.

Once I return to writing, I'll definitely finish this story. However, I'm not sure when that will occur.
Luna's going through so many changes that it's hard to blame her if she treats Ash a bit different now. Hopefully, their original love will persist.

I now understand the danger of ice cream when the portions are meant fo ascended. Poor Ash, that's got to be like a gallon easy.

Lol, ice cream isn't necessarily bad. It's just one of the few times Ash has ever experienced it. So he ate too much and paid the consequences.

A nice chapter! It looks like Luna is adjusting to her new status. I like how she's making changes to Ash's life, without him being aware of it. I like the further information you're giving about Ascended and how they derive sexual pleasure. I wonder how she'll react when its Ash's turn to act as a healer (I'm thinking it might work like a military reservist. He gets called up to serve from time to time, or on a set schedule). I hope she'll continue to love and respect him as she continues to adjust to her new life. I hope you continue to write about this interesting world!
