I see you wish Ben to be the main protagonist.  Ben wouldn't necessarily be out of the picture as he would be the first person everyone would come to in the studies of the other side, as he would have the only contact guaranteed to help on the otherside.  while we get to see his relationship blossom, a somewhat scared researcher in the background would be able to have all the access to books he could possibly ask for, as well as someone to direct with specific questions.

We'd also get to see the men's reactions and politics, such as how the lord marshall deals with the severity of what he will be deploying. An example of after the firing:

the men's government was furious.  They wrote a scathing letter in response to the attack making comments about how they and men in general percieved the attack, and stated they would cut relations for six months - a period of half a year.

THIS STORY IS AMAZING!!! I've viewed a great many literary pieces on giantessworld.net before, but you were the straw that broke the camel's back!  I'm constantly searching for unique pieces with giantesses with unique outlooks their were two that absolutely floored me, one was Fyth Farmland by spookytaco - a tale about what it would be like if giantesses were the slaves, the other was yours, The Wall.

It is so unique to see such an equivical piece.

I would like to say in the future i'm hoping the men prevail in defence of the wall as it would be much welcomed in keeping with the tone so far.

*Please don't be mad but I'd like to propose some ideas that you may like, want to change or dislike, in any case please don't be mad.

I was thinking the woman attempt to destroy the wall, however little known to them, the men had multiple high tech weapons kept secret even from their own citizens.  Much like many other super weapon predecessors such as the Tsar bomba nuclear weapon whose devastation knew no bounds as the epicenter could cover an area the size of all the city of london with a heat and blast radius spanning into the country side, advances in technology was further used to benefit security. One such weapon came in the form of a series of 12 hi-tech orbiting satellites, each outfitted with a primary canon utilizing highly advanced physics concepts to create a massive "death laser" on each installation.  The men were hesitant at first because while they feared the woman, many high ranking men knew they were still people.  However when news of a possible successful attack on the wall came, all restraint was lost.  While men may have respected them as human beings, the F.F.W. and outlandish feminist activity and brutality combined with incompetency of the pre-split government to handle such affairs, was something still taught with great emphasis and interest in both primary and seconday schools, and now they weren't just 10 ft tall they were all around 100 ft tall!  And so the men with heavy hearts aquiesced and as the females got closer with their disrupter, a massive beam of light reigned down from the heavens obliterating all who stood beneath with it's awespiring might. unique anti-material rounds created to vacuum all material into non existance, resonating the wall's will, sliced through the wall and into those that had before pummeled in arrogance at the barriers will.

Women all over the world were shocked and terrified at what they had seen.  The men despite being nearly 17 times smaller than them had dispatched their forces with such ease not even sending a single soldier.  Immediately the possibility of forceful uniting was dashed.

Meanwhile something quite unique was happening in cities all around the mens' side.  With the actual necessatation of 150 deaths man's scholars probed with renewed interest why woman were so determined to get past the gate.  Anyone in the 2000's may have thought it utterly rediculous but the curiousity of men, men having solved such pressing issues as poverty and pollution decades ago, directed their attention to not only furthering prosperity, but to furthering understanding of the world and it's circumstances, in fact it was a primary entertainment to learn new concepts and more about the world in educational books.  With the advent of the giantesses attempt, a renewed interest swept through the lands - no longer was it something that was just there it was something that would actually have had an impact on them.  Scholars such as social scientists recieved dramatic donations to further their research.  Man's scholars searched through all the the documents they could and purchased time on satellites to observe cities, towns, and farmlands taking multiple overview and close-up videos and pictures, especially at areas of interest such as news stands books on display, locations of art exhibitions, and many others of both governing and cultural interest.  Major groups even managed to procure spy bots and performed much more in depth observations of the same areas as their satellite counterparts. What they found greatly intrigued them; some of their observations are as follows

1. A great deal of newspapers talk of men as if it were a noble goal to reunite them, large groups advocating for both forceful and peaceful uniting of both species.

2.  Their cities were astonishingly simplistic as if they hadn't advanced much past the 2020's, and are suspected to have issues with slowly rising poverty rates.

3.  They sometimes talked reverently of the men's side, as if it were a fantasy world, even paying great tribute to mens' ability to solve environmental problems.  All of what they say is true as well though some slight exageration does exist.

4.  Feminism, the destructive influence which caused the wall to be erected, seems to be almost non-existant, however multiple tests of variety are needed to affirm such a hypothesis.

The 5th major fact drew the most attention by social scientists however,

5.  Some woman amidst conversation seem willing to do anything just to hold and talk to a man, though statistics on such relativities remain scant.  However interactions also suggest a possibility of sexual intercourse being a primal concern in some conversation.

The reason:  Though they knew much about issues and much of their culture, they did not have their books, the publishings that they read and used in education, the emphasizations they gave in their literature.  What were they raised to believe? what were they raised to think?

Questions like these could not be answered with mere surface studies they would have to see the texts for themselves to have a more complete picture.  To do this however would require personal interviewing of the material perhaps even ask a local girl, after studying behaviors, that would most likely agree to the study.

Men were finally going to visit the other side of the gate.

As you've probably realized the last part isn't exactly legal to the men's side but they're scientists thinking of the possibilities.

Great story so far!  I like the internal struggle between sexual need and concern for the little guy by Aubrey and hope it might be the same with the other women.  I hope this continues on a roughly gentle direction, using more violent aspects for plot development.

Author's Response:

I mean to keep the balance between gentle and rough. I don't really like mindless violence as I can't rationalize just being evil with any character.

Awesome chapter, but try a little longer chapters. You're killing me with the cliffhangers, let alone a short chapter.
This is a great story, with a awesome storyline. With different perspectives, should be treated with longer chapter. Even if it takes a extra day, instead of the regular 1-2 day update.

Thanks for the chapter :)

Author's Response:

The next few chapters should be a little longer because it's getting easier to put my ideas into motion as the story progresses.

Glad you are enjoying the story and thanks for the kind words, they really do help motivate me to write more.
