Thanks gadgetmawombo :) I've read somewhere that a sufficiently shrunken person's voice can't even be heard by regularly sized people, so I wanted to find a channel of communication between such differently sized people. Technology seemed like the most practical, it was a nice entry point for relations since you wouldn't be intimidated by their size if you were walking behind computer screens, and phones are something pretty basic that everybody would have.

Even technology has its limits as the giantess gets larger, though, so they'll have to find other ways to talk to each other when the disparity becomes too large to ignore. Or maybe the city stomping-sized ones won't care at all, and just trample over Lillians without a care. Who knows :)

I'm also of the opinion that if Pella didn't have any practice in interacting with a Lilliputian, she would have outright killed Nicky with her strength. She just knew that she couldn't apply too much force, but a practice doll won't tell you if it's in pain, so her inexperience him over the course of her play. It's tough to date a big Brob girl :p
