"We need to fix you up with a girl."

Rick sighed, rubbing his eyes.

"I think I'm doing okay," Rick said. Brian just shook his head, taking a sip from his drink.

"No, you're not, man. Every guy out there needs a fine piece of ass, if only to take his mind off of things for a little bit." Brian made his point clear as he looked after a woman walking away from the two of them, his eyes following every movement of her hips.

"Remind me why I hang out with you."

"Because I'm the only one that'll be caught in public with you?"

"Yeah, that's probably it." Rick munched on his fries, letting his mind wander and barely taking in what Brian was saying.

"So anyway, like I was saying...we just need to take you to a bar, find a woman, get the two of you together, and you finally get to lose that virgin brand. Huh? What do you say, come on!"

"No."

"You're no fun at all." Brian dabbed at his mouth with a napkin, looking dejected.

"Well, I don't...think of women that way. It should just be a man and a woman, you know?"

"Oh, come on, nobody believes that crap." Brian said, waving his hand through the air as if dismissing the very idea of it. "There's nothing wrong with a little one-nighter here and there. There's no bad feelings between the two of you, you both walk away feeling great...it's win-win."

"Yeah, I'm sure the woman feels fantastic waking up to an empty bed. Is that what Olivia started out as, Brian? A one-nighter, a...'fine piece of ass'?" Rick asked, referring to Brian's girlfriend.

"Shut up," Brian said, a smile forming at his lips. "No, she was different."

"How?"

"I was the one that woke up to an empty bed, for one thing." Rick laughed.

"And what, you called her just so you could have the last word?"

"No...there was just something different about her. I don't know, we clicked."

"In more ways than one."

"Shut up."

Rick laughed again, finishing up his fries and wiping off his mouth. "Well, I don't want that...I don't want to live my life from one date to the next...I'm not the same as you, I just want a woman. A woman. The right woman."

"The 'right woman' doesn't exist, man. Here, I'll throw that out for you." He got up and threw the empty box of fries in the trash, sat back down, and began talking where he left off. "There's just the women, and then there's the better women."

"And what about Olivia?" Brian smiled.

"Olivia, well...she's about as close to the right woman as I can get. I got lucky. But that doesn't mean that having a girlfriend that connects with me changes my outlook on things. I still think about other girls--"

"Ugh, don't. Just...just stop." Rick said, holding up his hands. "I don't...really want to hear about that. You know how pissed Olivia would be if she found out."

"Olivia doesn't have to know." Brian leaned back in his seat, his arms stretched behind his head. "Hell, it's not like she doesn't have those thoughts either. I see her taking looks at other guys, it doesn't really bother me. We both know that what we have is solid. That doesn't mean we can't have a little fun here and there." Rick just shook his head.

"Anyway," Brian continued, "we're not supposed to be talking about me, here. It's about you, and your continuing lack of a female presence by your side."

"I'm not going to a bar to meet a woman for a one-night stand." Brian sighed.

"Why not?"

"Because...it's not right!" Rick said. "I just don't like the idea of it...it's not like it's fishing."

"You have a lot to learn, my friend." Brian said, shaking his head. He suddenly took a pen and a pad of paper out of his pocket. "Look...why don't you go here?" He wrote down a web address, ripped out the paper, and handed it to Rick.

"What is it?"

"It's, well, a dating website."

"Oh, you've gotta be kidding me." Rick immediately crumpled up the paper and got up, heading to the trash.

"No, no, no, seriously! It's good! You just go on there, meet other women, talk to them...it'll help you, y'know?"

"I don't have a problem talking to women when I need to, it's just that I don't want to." Rick absent-mindedly pocketed the piece of paper as he sat back down with Brian.

"Yeah, yeah, sure, okay. How 'bout that one?" He pointed over Rick's shoulder to a girl cleaning the tables in the restaurant.

"Why should I talk with her?"

"Why not? Just go over, say hi, see how it goes. Maybe, I dunno, ask her out on a date...?" Rick rolled his eyes.

"I'm not talking to her."

"Yes you are." Brian got to his feet, grabbed Rick's arm, and immediately pulled him up. He gave him a gentle shove on the back in the direction of the girl. Rick glared at Brian, slowly walking over to the girl who continued to spray the tables and wipe them off with a towel. As he walked, he realized his legs were slowly beginning to feel like jello, his heart beating furiously, and though he tried to shut up the thought of Brian telling him "Told you so", he couldn't help but agree. He just shook his head, and soon, he was standing right next to the girl, not saying anything. Just standing and staring at her.

Eventually, the girl realized she was being watched. She slowly stood up, her eyes shifting nervously.

"Um...can I help you?" she asked. Rick looked at her nametag, which read Jill.

"Uh, hi...Jill." He did his best at giving a smile, which he thought showed far more teeth than was appropriate for a situation.

"Hi..." Jill said, clearly uncomfortable, and slowly backing away from Rick. "Do you need something?"

Well, hell, Rick, you could've planned this out better, he thought to himself. "N...no." he said, then shut his eyes tight, realizing what a stupid move that was. Jill just nodded.

"Oh...kay. I need to get back to work now." She sprayed the table again, continuing to wipe it, but never taking her eyes off Rick, eyeing him as if he could strike at any time. Rick just turned around, continuing his glare at Brian, who just gave him the thumbs-up. Rick faced Jill again.

"So...do you...wanna do something?"

It was about half an hour after Jill got her manager and Rick and Brian were kicked out of the restaurant that Rick realized he still had the piece of paper Brian had given him in his pocket. Rick sat on a chair in his apartment, holding the paper in his hand, glancing briefly at it before he got up to throw it away. Halfway to the trash, however, he suddenly stopped, glanced at it once more, and sighed.

"This is so stupid," he muttered to himself before heading over to his computer and booting it up. After several minutes, he found himself on the website, idly looking over it and finding the whole thing more than amusing. The site consisted mostly of profiles of the different users, giving info such as their names, their e-mail addresses, small descriptions. After several minutes of random checking around, he suddenly found an instant message pop up on his screen.

~~HoTaNdSeXy7820~~: hey big boy wanna fuck?

"Okay, that's...no." Rick immediately exited out of the IM, and was just about to leave the website when another IM popped up on his screen.

nz1811: Hey.

He paused, staring at the screen for a few seconds, his hand remaining on the mouse, ready to exit out. He debated in his mind for several long seconds before shrugging and moving over to the IM.

rt76: Hi.

nz1811: Sorry if I'm not too talkative. I can't believe I'm actually doing this, is all. Being on this site.

rt76: I know what you mean.

nz1811: So...

rt76: What's your name?

Rick winced. Was that too forward? That had to be too forward. God, I already screwed it up, didn't I?

nz1811: Naomi. You?

Maybe not.

rt76: Rick.

nz1811: Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Rick.

rt76: Same here. So, what do we do now?

nz1811: I was actually hoping you could tell me...I'm new at this, myself.

rt76: Okay, well...how are you?

God, that was so lame!

nz1811: I'm doing okay. Yourself?

rt76: Not too bad. Just a little nervous, is all.

nz1811: Why?

'Cause I'm talking to a g-g-girl! Rick sighed, shaking his head.

rt76: Oh, just worried I'll scare you off suddenly...I'm not the greatest talker in the world.

nz1811: Don't worry, me neither. But we can only do what we can with what we have.

rt76: True. So, um...tell me about yourself.

They talked long into the night. Rick looked over at the clock, shocked at discovering that the time was 3:14 AM.

rt76: Geez, it's getting awfully late.

nz1811: Is it?

nz1811: Oh, wow...I should have gone to bed hours ago.

rt76: Yeah, me too. I'm sorry for keeping you up, it was my fault...

nz1811: No, no, I liked talking with you! You need more self-confidence.

rt76: Maybe. Will you be online tomorrow?

rt76: Or rather, tonight?

nz1811: Count on it. See you later, Rick.

**nz1811 signed off**

Rick sighed, leaned back in his chair, and smiled.

"Wow..." he muttered. He got out of the chair, stood up, and stretched his muscles, only now realizing just how tired he was. The time had just flown by while he had talked to Naomi about everything...their jobs, their homes, their interests...in the space of only a few minutes, Rick had found the woman he had been fantasizing about for his entire life.

He slowly shuffled over to his room, taking off his shirt as he walked. He collapsed on the bed, and the second his head hit the pillow, he fell asleep.

It felt like only seconds later when his eyes opened. He never was one for dreams. In fact, he couldn't remember the last time he had a dream...it had to have been at least a year.

"Ah, well," he sighed. He got out of his bed, and realized that he was standing in a room he had never seen before.

The room itself was massive. It felt like he was in some grand opera hall. What caught his eye were the decorations. Draped along the walls were curtains of various colors, larger than any he had ever seen. Scattered along the ground were pillows that seemed more like mountains to him. In the direct center of the room, there was a large white tower that stretched hundreds of feet into the air. At the top, the He looked back at the bed he had been sleeping on. It was tucked into one corner of the room, and looked like no more than a simple mattress, with no decorations around it to speak of. In fact, that corner of the room with his bed in it was completely bare, with no curtains from the rest of the room stretching into it and no color to speak of.

He slowly moved out of the corner and into the rest of the vibrant place, getting a feel for just how truly large it was. He climbed on top of one of the pillows in order to get a view, and felt his breath catch in his throat.

What seemed like miles away from him across this grand room was another bed, tucked in the opposite corner of his. Only this bed was built to the same size as the rest of the room, and the color and decorations of the place even stretched into his corner. It seemed to stretch miles into the sky, and as Rick continued to look up at it, he suddenly realized that there was a person sleeping on it: a giant woman, curled up into a ball and with her back facing him.

His eyes widened, and he fell down as he continued to stare at her massive form. She seemed to be dressed in a simple white nightgown. Her blond hair rested directly behind her. Her breathing came slowly and steadily, as if she was still sleeping.

Rick laid down on his stomach, as if trying to make himself a smaller target for her in case she woke up. He could feel himself trembling, wanting to get away from this abomination of nature as soon as he could, fearing everything that might happen to him at the hands of this surely cruel goddess. And though he looked around the room, he could see no door out of this place, and realized that he was trapped. There would be no escape for him.

Suddenly, he heard the woman yawn, a long and elegant arm stretching towards the ceiling as she stretched. Rick clutched the soft pillow with his fists as if trying to grab courage from it and stop his violent shaking, but found himself unable to tear his eyes from her as she slowly sat up on her bed, rubbing her eyes. She swung her bare legs over the bed and planted them on the ground, resting her arms on her knees and waiting for the last remnants of sleep to leave her. She then looked up, and her eyes widened.

"What the?!" she cried out, and quickly brought her legs back on the bed, as if fearing that something would strike out and grab them. "Where am I?" she mumbled, looking fearfully around the room. Rick continued to stare at her in wonder, and realized that his shaking was slowly stopping. Although the mere sight of this woman was enough to chill his blood, he realized that she was as much lost and confused as he was. She most certainly was not the evil titaness that his imagination made her out to be.

His knees buckling, Rick slowly got to his feet, still watching her as she rapidly looked around the room in every direction, most likely searching for answers or a way out. Finally, her eyes fell on him, and Rick only stared back, trying not to run screaming from her. He just knew that he had to keep his gaze, to show that he was an ally and a friend. With the two of them together, they were safe in this place. He didn't know why, but somehow, he just knew it. They could find a way out, but only together.

"Oh, God..." the woman suddenly wailed. "Bugs!"

"Oh, shit," Rick cried out, and ran off the pillow. He looked back at her over his shoulder, and saw her grabbing the pillow off her own bed, throwing it through the air. He watched it soar towards him, like some enormous comet, and fell to the ground, holding his hands over his head to protect him. With a soft impact, the pillow landed a few feet away from him, although the wind from it rushing past nearly blew him away. After it landed, he stood up and continued running once more, and heard another wail from the strange woman as she realized that the pillow didn't hit.

Rick looked behind him again, and saw the woman getting off the bed and running towards him. He tried running faster and harder, but the woman's hundred foot tall legs easily overtook his, and in only a few steps, she had caught up to him. Rick looked up, whimpering, into her face, which was a mixture of rage and fear. He stopped running, knowing that it was futile, and in a last-ditch attempt, found himself falling to his knees. Tears running from his eyes, he held his hands up to her and pleased.

"Please," he cried out. "Please, don't kill me!"

The woman raised her leg high over Rick, the bare sole of her foot high above him. She kept her glare on his, completely oblivious to his words. Without saying a word, she brought her foot down rapidly towards him, and Rick barely had enough time to get to his feet and dive out of the way. The force of her foot impacting with the ground was enough to send him flying through the air, and he collided with one of the pillows on the ground. He had barely got his bearings before looking up again and realizing that she had again raised her foot and was bringing it down again. He ran, just narrowly dodging it again, and quickly dropped to hands and knees, crawling underneath a nearby pillow.

"That won't save you!" she cackled, and the darkness beneath the pillow was suddenly flooded with light as she lifted it off of him. She threw it over to the side, and raised her foot once more. "Just...DIE!" she screamed, and slammed her foot down once more, Rick managing to dodge yet again. He immediately stood up and began jumping up and down, waving his arms and screaming at her.

"I'm not a bug! I'm not a bug! Don't kill me!"

She was beginning to raise her foot once more, but suddenly stopped. The rage on her face was suddenly switched with one of confusion, and she softly planted her foot back on the ground. She slowly got on her knees, and looked closer at Rick.

"What the..." she muttered, her face approaching ever closer to him. Rick continued to wave his arms, repeatedly screaming that he wasn't a bug. The woman's eyes suddenly widened, and she backed away from Rick, a hand held over her mouth as she gasped. "Oh my God! Oh my God...it, it's not possible! You...you're a man!"

"Yes! Yes!" Rick yelled over to her, elation filling him as he realized he was safe.

"I can't understand you..." she said. She sighed, and crawled closer to him again. She held her hand out flat towards him. "Here. Climb on my hand."

Rick looked down at it, mistrust etched across his face. He slowly backed away from it, shaking his head. The woman stared down at him with what looked like disappointment, and then she smirked. In a flash, Rick suddenly felt pressure all around him, his arms pinned to his sides as he was lifted into the air by her fist.

"Well, it's not like you can do anything about it, so ha," she laughed. Seeing Rick's fear, however, she looked disappointed once more. "Oh...I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be so rough." She opened up her fist and turned her hand so that Rick lay flat across her palm. She gently stroked him with a finger of her other hand. "I'm sorry...it's just...this place. I don't know where I am...do you?" Rick shook his head.

"I woke up here, the same as you," he called up to her.

"I'm sorry?" she asked, bringing him close to her ear.

"I said, I woke up here, the same as you!" he shouted.

"Oh...really? Um, I don't see your bed..." she said, looking around the room. Rick could see the bare white corner of the room even from here, and pointed over to it. The woman frowned, gently getting to her feet. "I still don't see it..."

She walked to the corner, and Rick could hear a soft crunch far on the ground. Both he and the woman looked down with the same expression of worry as she lifted her foot, the destroyed ruins of the bed beneath her big toe.

"Oh...I'm sorry! God, I'm such a klutz..." the woman muttered. Rick just smiled up at her.

"It's fine!" he yelled up to her. "Don't worry about it." She smiled back at him.

"So tell me...do you have a name?"

"It's Rick!" The woman looked startled, her eyes narrowing.

"Did you just say Rick?"

"Yeah..." he nodded, worried that he had done something wrong.

"Well," she gulped, "mine's Naomi."

Author's Notes:
I deeply apologize for the long wait, but finally, here it is. Chapter 2, or 'The Talking Chapter', which I've only just noticed is shorter than the first one and is hardly a fitting way to end that long break but I've already said I'm sorry so please stop looking at me like that. Enjoy!

“Naomi?” Rick asked. Naomi just nodded, an almost fearful expression on her face. “Naomi Zimmerman?” he continued. “From…from the dating website?”

“Yuh-huh…” she said. She continued to move her eyes over him, as if studying him for an indication of what he was thinking. Rick couldn’t help but feel worried under that gaze. Her eyes were large enough that he felt he could be sucked away inside of them. Simply staring into them felt as if pieces of himself were breaking away and being swallowed into that piercing blue abyss.

He continued to be silent for a long time. He was unsure of what to say. Would he ask in vain why they were there, when he knew full well she knew as much as he did? Perhaps he would strike out in anger? That last thought was amusing. He imagined falling to his knees and beating his fists furiously on her palm while she merely smirked and closed her hand tight. Finally, he gathered, his courage, swallowed, and spoke:

“Oh.”

They were again silent. She was no longer staring at him, for which Rick was grateful. He was getting more or less used to the fact that there was a very obvious size difference between the two of them, but when she stared at him like that…it almost felt dehumanizing. As if she was some scientist studying him beneath a microscope, waiting to see what he would do under certain conditions.

“So, um,” Naomi asked, her booming voice sharply breaking Rick out of his reverie, “you woke up here just like me?” Rick nodded, and Naomi bit her lip. “And you have no idea how we got here?” He nodded again.

Naomi moved cautiously back to her bed, and slowly sat down upon it, gently putting Rick down next to her. His immediate realization was that her mattress was for more comfortable than his (or what used to be his). In fact, his had felt like a brick compared to this. Moving around on her bed felt like moving about on a trampoline, and he found himself resting an arm against her thigh for balance. He did this for quite some time before actually realizing where he was putting his hand, and looked up at her face. She looked down at him with an expression that almost seemed to scream ‘What do you think you’re doing?’, which made her next statement unnecessary.

“Um…what are you doing?”

“I lost my balance…” Rick said, blushing furiously. He quickly took his hand away from her thigh, but she still stared down at him. The stare now was even worse than before. She almost seemed to be acknowledging the fact that he was beneath her. That he had no right to touch her as he did. He had the strangest desire to fall to his knees and beg for forgiveness. It almost felt natural. But then, a smirk appeared on her face.

“You lost your balance, huh?” she asked. She nodded slowly. “Suuuure ya did.”

“I did!” he shouted.

She rolled her eyes in an exaggerated motion, reached over for a blanket on her bed, and dropped it on top of Rick. He screamed at the sight of all that fabric rushing down on top of him and covered his head with his arms, but when it did make contact, it just seemed to all float around him. Opening his eyes, he found that he was indeed trapped underneath it, and there was darkness everywhere. He could barely hear the muffled sound of Naomi laughing at him.

“Oh, I can still see you! You’re just a tiny lump!”

Rick groaned. This was not good for his ego. He began crawling in a random direction when he suddenly felt himself blocked by a wall. Naomi had put her hand in front of him.

“Not that way,” she said, not unkindly. “Don’t want you falling off the bed.”

Rick turned around and began crawling back the other way, when he again found himself trapped by Naomi’s hand.

“Maybe I don’t want you going that way either. I’m starting to think I like you under there,” Naomi said, speaking through a smile.

“Very funny,” Rick said. “Can you let me out now?”

“Well, now why would I want to do that?” Naomi asked. “I’ve got you right where I want you.”

“What do you mean?” Rick asked, slightly nervous. Naomi just laughed.

“Sorry, kind of a power rush.” She picked the blanket up and tossed it to the side. Rick marveled at how easy she made it look. It was merely a blanket, but it looked like she had picked up and thrown a piece of the landscape.

“A power rush?” Rick asked.

“Oh, like you wouldn’t be doing the same thing as me if you were in my shoes?”

“Well, I’m not in your shoes, and no, I don’t think I would. I tend to not treat my friends like bugs.” Rick said, his smile betraying his pretend ‘angry’ voice.

“I’m treating you like a bug?” Naomi asked. “Funny, I hadn’t realized.”

“Yeah, I’m sure.” Rick said.

“Did you hear something?” Naomi asked again, suddenly looking around the room intently. “It sounded like…like some kind of buzzing, or whining.”

Rick grew nervous, looking around the room with the same intent Naomi shared, before he looked back up at her and realized she was smiling maliciously at him.

“Oh, very funny!” he shouted. “Yeah, let’s laugh at the short guy.”

“I am laughing at the short guy,” she said. She pointed out her finger and held it upright next to him. He didn’t even reach the top of it. He just smiled up at her and wrapped his arms around the finger.

“You’re mean,” he said. She carefully pulled her hand up, but quickly enough so that Rick couldn’t let go. She held the finger horizontally in front of her so that Rick was hanging by both arms.

“Only to my friends,” she said.

“Um, I’m not so good with heights…” Rick said, looking down beneath him with worry.

“Heights? It’s a couple of inches,” Naomi chuckled.

“Yeah, to you.”

“Point taken.” She began shaking her finger, and Rick quickly lost his balance, falling to the bed with a short scream, and bouncing back up once he made contact.

“Don’t DO that!” Rick shouted up at her.

“Oh, look at the little boss man,” Naomi said. “Giving the giant lady rules.” She leaned her face in real close to Rick’s, close enough so that he could feel her breath wash all over him. “Well, you can only give someone rules if you can enforce them. And what are you gonna do to me?” she asked, with that smirk once more on her face.

Rick stared back into those eyes again for some time, focusing only on the eyes, but not really her. Her smirk vanished.

“What are you staring at?” she asked. Rick just blushed.

“Um, nothing…”

“Nothing, huh?” The smirk returned, and she pursed her lips together, blowing at Rick. He was knocked off his feet by the sudden and harsh gust of wind, and Naomi arched her head back in laughter. Rick was angry at first, but looking at her laugh, he couldn’t help but feel a smile grow on his own face, and he too laughed.

After they both calmed down, Naomi carefully laid stomach-down on the bed, her feet dangling up in the air and her head resting on her chin, looking down at Rick. He just smiled up at her.

“There’s something I’ve been meaning to ask you,” he said.

“Hmm? And what’s that?” She was gently rocking her feet back and forth, a motion which was quite captivating for Rick, but he made sure to keep his eyes firmly locked on Naomi’s.

“Well…why were you trying to step on me barefoot?”

Naomi just looked at him, an eyebrow raised.

“Well, I don’t exactly have any shoes,” she said, poking him in the chest and giggling. He was again knocked off his feet, but was taking it all in good humor, smiling.

“No, no, I know that, it’s just…most women wouldn’t step on bugs barefoot,” Rick said, blushing.

“Well, I’m not ‘most women’, am I?” she asked with a grin. “Bugs have never bothered me,” she said. “When I was a little girl, I always loved crushing ants. I still love it today.”

“And you do it barefoot?” he asked.

“Sometimes. It’s not that bad, it actually feels quite good.” She wasn’t even looking at Rick anymore. Her eyes had wandered away, as if she was in another world. She was silent for a few seconds before shaking her head and looking back down at Rick. “Not that I’m thinking of stepping on you,” she said.

“Even though you already tried,” Rick said.

“Accident.”

“Tell me, do bugs wear clothes where you live?”

“Only the really squishy ones.” Naomi held up her fingers a few centimeters away from each other.

“Laugh it up,” Rick said. “When we wake up, I’ll be normal-sized again, so you better cherish this.”

“Oh? You’re so sure this is all a dream?” she asked. Rick just shrugged.

“What else could it be? We both woke up in beds, and it’s not like tiny men and giant women hang out in bars.”

“That’s because tinies always leave us with the bill.”

“If you want to pay for a mug of beer bigger than you, go right ahead. I’ll stick with my thimble.” Rick said, putting his hands on his hips.

“Pfft. Tiny.” She stuck out her tongue at Rick.

“Giant.”

Naomi put her hand in front of Rick, and very gently flicked him in the chest. He flew several feet backward before landing with a bounce.

“And don’t you forget it,” she giggled. Rick got up, still smiling. “So do you think we’ll just be back to normal once the dream ends?” she asked.

“Probably. The question is: how do we end the dream?”

“Do we really want to?” Naomi was again looking off into the distance.

“What do you mean?”

“Well…how many times have you shared a dream with someone, Rick? This could be a once in a lifetime chance…we should make the most of it.”

“How are we going to make the most of it? What can we possibly do?”

Naomi just smiled down at him.

“Use your imagination,” she said.

Exploration by SilverFlame
Author's Notes:

Thanks for all the kind reviews, everyone!

“This is ridiculous,” Rick said to himself. He was firmly rooted to the ground, staring ahead of him. Before him, the soles of Naomi’s bare feet towered into the air. The area between her legs seemed like a great canyon that ended far off in the distance. Rick could see what must have been her panties inside of her white nightgown, though he was quick to avert his eyes. Above and beyond that, past two mountains, Rick could barely see Naomi’s face. She was propped up against the headboard of the bed, squinting down at him.

He had laughed at the idea when she suggested it, thinking it was a joke. But she had only stared back in complete seriousness. And for some unknowable reason, Rick agreed. He had to admit, he was unsure why she wanted to do this. What possible enjoyment could she get out of having a being she could barely feel walk all over her?

“You better get going,” Naomi called down to him, shaking him from his thoughts. “You’ve got a long walk ahead of you.”

Rick sighed, and stared back at the soles. He had never really been into rock climbing, but even if he had, he would still be dumbfounded on how to approach this obstacle. He slowly moved toward her right foot, looking up at Naomi’s toes up above: the flags that marked the summit of this mountain. He placed a hand on the remarkably smooth heel, and dragged his hand across the foot. He heard a soft murmur from Naomi.

“That feels pretty good,” she said. “Keep doing that, whatever you’re doing…”

Rick laughed. He was amazed that she could feel him this well. He put his other hand on the heel, and began sliding both hands across her smooth and soft sole. He then began kneading the surface of it with his knuckles. After some time of that, he flattened his palms against her foot, and roughly pushed and slowly moved his hands around, eliciting even more murmurs of pleasure from Naomi.

“Thank you,” she said. Rick peeked his head out from the side of her foot, still just able to see her face. Her eyes were closed, and she was smiling. “Maybe you could do the other one, too? But later…not right now. You should start climbing.”

Ah, yes, that. Rick rested his forehead against the sole, then looked back up. Finally, pushed his right hand against the sole, and grabbed at it. He could grab just the tiniest bit of flesh as a handhold, although he wasn’t sure if it was enough. He continued to grab it to see if it bothered Naomi, but she seemed not to notice. He let go, and reached even higher, grabbing at the flesh again. And he pulled himself up.

He was not exactly in peak physical condition, and his thin arms began quivering as he slowly pulled his body up from the ground. He grabbed on to his makeshift handhold with his second hand and tried pushing all of his weight on to it, but he could not keep his grip, and ended up falling. He bounced upon reaching the ground and slammed face first into her sole, groaning with pain.

“Rick? What’s wrong?” Naomi asked. He walked out from behind her foot, and made as exaggerated a shrug as he could so that she could see. “You can’t get up?” she asked. She then chuckled. “Well, that put an end to that pretty quick. Here, let me help.”

She bent forward, reached between her ankles, and gently grabbed Rick between two fingers. She slowly moved him up in the air and over to her right foot. He was suspended in air above her big toe, and it looked like she was about to let him go when she suddenly stopped, and a smirk appeared on her face again as she gently deposited him in the space between her big and second toe.

“There you go,” Naomi said, leaning back after putting Rick down. “You should be able to make the rest of your journey from here.”

Rick looked down at the distant ground with some fear, grabbing tightly onto her second toe for support. Naomi suddenly twitched her toes the tiniest bit, causing Rick to gasp in fright and clutch even tighter to the toe. Naomi just giggled again. Rick shot a glare at her.

He slowly let go of the toe and sat down between the space. Leaning out, he could just barely see the blue polish on Naomi’s toenails. He pushed himself away from the space as carefully as he could, but Naomi moved her toes yet again, causing Rick to lose his balance and slide down the surface of her foot, reaching the top of her ankle with a painful bump. He got to his feet, groaning.

“So mean,” he muttered. But at least it was a relatively straight walk from her. He began walking across her recently shaved leg, wondering if every part of her was smooth. It was somewhat difficult keeping his footing, but he continued to keep his eyes on Naomi’s face, and at her distinct grin and closed eyes. Somehow, she was enjoying this.

Rick finally reached her nightgown at her knee, and was relieved to suddenly feel like he wasn’t going to fall down at any moment. He walked ever faster, anxious to reach his goal, when he felt his foot sink slightly. Looking down, he realized he had reached her midsection, and more importantly, had arrived at ‘the end of the canyon’. A very soft moan escaped Naomi’s lips.

“But Rick, we’ve only just met,” she mumbled. Rick blushed.

“I, I didn’t mean—“, he started, before realizing she couldn’t even hear him. He simply decided to get away as fast as possible, and began walking up her stomach.

He tripped and fell upon reaching her belly button, to which Naomi again laughed. Rick clutched tightly to the folds of her nightgown as his world rose and fell with each breath of laughter, and his comical look only caused Naomi to laugh harder. Rick felt like he was going to be sick, and just hoped that he wouldn’t throw up on her nightgown. Her laughter suddenly became muffled, and looking up at her face, Rick saw that she had clamped a hand over her mouth in a vain attempt to stop laughing.

“I’m sorry!” Naomi said as her laughter finally died away. “You just looked so funny…”

“I think I’m going to be sick,” Rick muttered, staying flat on Naomi’s stomach. Wearily looking up at Naomi’s face, she was looking down at him with a concerned expression, but Rick just held up a hand, as if saying ‘Give me a minute’. He slowly took several breaths, and continued to just lay there as his stomach settled. Finally, he got back to his feet, and continued walking. He moved up the flat surface of her stomach and ever closer to her chest, the second obstacle he had been somewhat nervous about approaching.

He stopped just short of her breasts, both of which towered above him. He looked at both of them, and then smiled up at Naomi, who just raised her eyebrow as she peeked at him in the space between her breasts.

“Can I help you?” she asked, with the slightest edge to her voice. Rick held up his hands.

“I’m not doing anything!” he shouted up at her.

“Mm-hmm. Better not get any ideas.”

Rick gulped and slowly began moving ahead. He chanced a peek to his left, when Naomi suddenly barked down at him:

“Eyes front, soldier!”

Rick’s head shot forward again, and he again moved quickly, eager to escape that prison of temptation. He finally found himself on her collarbone. Her chin was resting in front of him, and he saw that she was struggling to be able to see him. He felt his hands along her chin, and she slowly began raising her head.

He pulled himself up to stand on her chin as she pushed herself slightly down the bed and began looking up at the ceiling of the strange room. Rick moved across her chin and found himself on top of her red lips.

“Better not say anything,” he called up to her eyes. He heard a soft growl beneath him, and the lips suddenly parted. He gave a small shriek as he dropped, landing on a hard and moist surface which he placed as her teeth. Her wet lips closed back around his body, seeming to wrap around his entire being and cover him with saliva. “Don’t eat me!” he shouted up at her.

The cocoon of her lips suddenly stretched around him, and Rick realized that she was smiling. He grabbed on to the skin around him, and tried pulling himself out of her mouth. She offered little resistance, and soon Rick found himself before her nose.

She gave a quick breath at Rick with her nose, knocking him off his feet and also chilling his cold body. When he stood back up, she did it again.

“Oh, knock that off!” he shouted.

“Sorry,” she said, speaking as softly and with as little movement as she could. Rick again stood up, and quickly moved out from under her nostrils. He walked up and climbed up the hill of her nose, moving between her eyes. He looked down, and saw that her eyes were crossed in order to look at him. He fell to his knees, and planted a kiss on her skin. He felt the skin beneath him grow warmer.

“I don’t have a flag, so that will have to do,” he said. He stood back up. “I hereby dub this Mount Naomi!”

Naomi raised up her arms and began softly clapping them together.

“Bravo!” she said. She picked Rick up and moved him away from her face as she blinked her eyes rapidly. “Sorry, that was hurting my eyes.” She moved away from the bed and gently placed Rick on the ground. “Okay. My turn!”

Rick stared up at her in horror.

“I bet I can beat your time, too,” she said with a smirk. Keeping her heel on the ground, she raised her left foot above Rick. It stretched far into the air above him, her majestic toes wiggling in the sky above him. “Step one…” She slowly began lowering her foot. Rick quickly turned and ran, both hearing and feeling her foot make contact with the floor behind him.

“Huh, that’s strange,” Naomi said. “A moving mountain.”

A shadow appeared all around Rick. Looking up, her saw the sole of her right foot hovering above him as it tracked his movements. Slowly, the foot lowered. Every which way he moved, the foot moved with him, continuing to descend. Finally, he found himself on his knees, and soon, his stomach. He could no longer move, and the feel of her flesh was all around him, seemingly wrapping him up. She was being extremely careful not to put any weight on him so that she wouldn’t accidentally crush him, but it still wasn’t comfortable in the slightest.

“I hereby dub this Mount Rick!” she said, her voice muffled by her foot. “Or rather, Rick Hill. Maybe the Mound of Rick.”

She moved her foot away, dragging her big toe across Rick’s back as she did so. He groaned in pleasure, turning around and looking up at her. She smiled down at him, and slowly knelt down, her hair falling around her face. She raised a hand and touched Rick with her long index finger. She slowly dragged it across his body, and now Rick found himself with his eyes closed as he moaned in pleasure.

“Stand up, please,” she asked him. Rick obediently got to his feet. “And turn around.” Somewhat confused, he did so. She very slowly and sensually dragged the nail of her index finger down his back, which suddenly arced with pleasure. Rick balled his fists, as if the feeling was too much to hold. His shut his eyes tight as she did it again and again, up and down as her finger expertly maneuvered across his spine. Finally, she stopped. Rick looked behind him, and saw that she was getting even closer to the ground.

She put the tip of her index finger in her mouth, wetting it. She then took it out and applied it to Rick’s back, causing his smile to widen. She applied it all over his bare back, until every part of it was wet. Finally, she took her finger away, gently pursed her lips together, and blew very softly onto his back.

The soft burning feeling of where her fingernail had gently scratched him was immediately replaced with the cool rush of her breath washing over him. He gasped, shocked at how good it felt. Her breath coming into contact with the wetness of his back caused him to shiver slightly, but he enjoyed every second of it. Her breath was very soft, slow, and deliberate.

“Are you cold?” she asked. Rick slowly nodded. “Come here,” Naomi said, and put her right hand on the ground, palm facing up. Rick walked on top of her palm. “Lie down,” she asked, and he did so, more than willing to listen. She raised her other hand. “Don’t be afraid,” she said, and slowly lowered her left hand on top of the hand Rick lay on, until finally he found himself blanketed between the two hands, the warmth of her skin immediately heating him up. It was dark in this space between her hands, but light seeped through her fingers. And there was just enough space for Rick to feel cozy, not claustrophobic. He smiled, wrapping his arms around his chest. He was happy.

He could feel the hands move, and when the left hand lifted away, he saw that she was again lying on the bed.

“I’m feeling kind of tired now,” she said. “Strange, I’ll admit, since we’re in a dream, but…” her voice trailed off as she looked at the far distant corner where the remains of Rick’s own bed lay. “I’m sorry for crushing your bed,” she said with a smile. “So you can sleep with me tonight. Is that okay?” Rick nodded enthusiastically, and Naomi just smiled back at him. She lowered her head onto the pillow and gently put Rick down on the pillow next to her. She grabbed the sheets and pulled them up over her body.

“Good night,” Naomi said, closing her eyes with a content expression on her face.

“Good night,” Rick responded. When he was quite sure she was not watching him, he stood up, walked over to her, and kissed her on the nose. He then laid down beneath her nose, her gentle breaths washing over him, and he fell asleep, oblivious to the blushing smile that had developed on her face after kissing her.
