I'm a Connecticut Yankee from the Northwest Corner of the Nutmeg State. I was born in 1959, which makes me a reasonably hygienic middle-aged man (as opposed to a dirty old one; lol!). It also makes me an avid science fiction buff, as I grew up reading Silver Age comics and watching now-vintage sci-fi TV shows. Also, a moderate collector of same.

Nope, the Filmation New Adventures of Batman 1977 Electro was totally different. His power was shrinking people, rather than lightning. Ah, yes! Beany the Copy Boy. I fondly remember the one-and-only Filmation cartoon I ever saw him in. It was the series premier of the "New Adventures of Superman" and Jimmy wound up falling into a subterranean version of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's LOST WORLD!

Unfortunately, for young Mr. Olsen, that was one of the few times he was without his trusty camera! So, Beany thought he had hallucinated all his misadventures.

In the 1968 Batman Superman Hour (Filmation), Beany and Jimmy wore glow-in-the-dark costumes as a prank on Clark Kent at the end of "Luminians on the Loose Part 2".

As for these two chapters, they were originally the start of "Bat-Mite and the Masters of the Universe". But the He-Man characters had no gts women or tiny men. So I dumped their chapters, and left out the meeting with Bat-Mite, and worked the rest into this story to commemorate the recent DVD and Bluray release of Adam West's original live action Batman series of the 1960s. (Of course, he and Burt Ward voiced Batman and Robin in the 1977 Filmation version used in these chapters too).

Personally I love the Monkees, I have the DVD collection of their entire second season and it's one of the funniest things I've ever watched. Though, under the circumstances, I thought that Somebody To Love would have been a more appropriate song.

So, let me see if I have the names straight. Meg is the "dirty" blonde with the black yoga pants and red pull-over blouse. Ashley is the brunette with the t-shirt and blue jeans. And Jess is the Middle Eastern girl...with a wardrobe as still unknown as the bleached blonde's first name.

You still need to work on that separation, though.

Thank you for the input! After reading my work over a third time, big mistake! I accidentally named the girl with dirty blonde hair 2 different names: Megs and Ashley. I intended to make the girl with brown hair as Ashley, dirty blonde as Megs, bleach blonde as Jess and the middle Eastern girl I hadn't introduced yet. Thanks for picking up on that!

I'm practicing by introducing characters into a story in a sort of natural way as if you yourself were the main character learning who the other characters were. As you may have noticed, I definitely need to work on that! Will spend some time editing it a bit to improvement, thank you!
