Anyway, they found themselves in a village in a foreign land, hidden away from the people—or rather, from the 'giants.' His family was run over by a car tire, leaving Tony as the sole survivor; that was a year ago, and he is now—as previously mentioned—sixteen years old. He remained hidden from the giants until, in the dead of winter, little Tony was lovingly discovered by Countess Bernadette. Bernadette took him in with affection and became a mother figure to him, while Tony found the love of his life in Betty, the Japanese maid. Tony told the two giantesses about his life; his story was so harrowing that it brought tears to their eyes, and both women sympathized deeply with him. They were there for him, offering loving comfort and helping him heal from his pain; now, little Tony enjoys a wonderful, better life with the two giantesses, where he is pampered and truly, eternally loved by both.
