I really love the way you started this story. Not just because it was cruelly fun (which it absolutely was, by the way) but because of the way it set up everything else so far. I can honestly say that this is the first story that blindsided me with gentle content!
That first chapter showed us just how cruel and dark this world can be for tinies. Being left to fend for themselves after their caretaker died and thriving anyway, only for a group of bratty college girls to massacre them just for fun was such a hopeless scenario for Allen and his first community. We saw his whole life ripped away from him in the sexiest way possible.
Oh, sorry, you tapped two different parts of my brain with that destruction scene. It was both tragic and hot at the same time! I both loved it and hated those girls at the same time.
But it wasn't just that they destroyed the community and killed everybody but Allen; it was the way they did it. They clearly didn't see the tinies as people but pests instead. What's worse, the fact that they were sentient pests meant that they were more fun to fuck with, so they were more diligent and taunting in wiping them out. They also didn't seem to think too much of Allen, as they actually seemed to expect him to hang around and be their pet, like they didn't think he knew how to leave or something.
I really, really like the way all of that contrasts with Olivia, Lola, and the new shelter. That dark start made all the gentle content that followed it, which would have been great enough on its own, so much sweeter.
And the way you're handling Allen's trauma is very well done! He's so relatable despite going through something unimaginable. He even struggles to integrate with other people his own size, let alone dealing with his new giant caretakers (although he does become fond of Olivia to an extent pretty instantly). He lost everything and is struggling to see the point of going on. And now, in the more recent chapters, he's slowly starting to learn to lean on those around him. I'm pulling for him pretty hard!
But the main attraction of the story has to Lola. She's such a unique character. She's so much fun, the perfect blend of playful, caring, and dominant. I think there are two things about her that make her actions come off less severe to both the reader and the tinies.
First, there's a certain innocence about her. Even when she actually hurts the tinies a little bit, they don't hold it against her too much because they know she doesn't mean to. And if she found out that she had hurt one, she would feel bad (we saw that when she thought she hurt Allen at the start of this last chapter). She just likes to feel powerful and in control, so she plays with them a little bit here and there, and the tinies have decided that's a price they're willing to pay for their safety and the various amenities that Lola makes for them.
Second, Lola truly sees the tinies as people. From knowing all of their names to feeling worried when she crushed that house on accident to even feeling satisfaction of putting Dakota "in her place" (calling her rich girl before sticking the tiny in her mouth), these all show that she sees them as real, individual people. Even in that last example with Dakota or the other cases in the story where she "abuses" a tiny or two, she only enjoys that control she has over them because they're people to her. She wouldn't enjoy it at all if she thought of them as bugs or even if she literally did this stuff with bugs. She enjoys expressing her power over little people, and on some level, that's more recognition as human beings than most of them have every gotten from a normal before (well, other than Olivia, but still!).
We saw all of this play out in her scene with Allen. She was worried about him and tried to inspire him when he needed it most, and even when she was making him do stuff (like exploring her body or feeding her popcorn, the lucky fuck!), he became more confident around her because he felt like a person around her and started to realize that she would never actually hurt him (on purpose).
And the way she giggled at him as he was terrified after being in her mouth showed that she didn't really understand what that was like for him; she just innocently laughed at something she thought was cute and funny. That obliviousness is kind of her saving grace.
But I said before that I'm more of an Olivia guy, and I meant that. Sweet, caring, and mature yet youthful in appearance is a winning combination for me! It can be hard writing a character like her in a compelling way, I think, but you nailed it here. She's not teasing at all, but she's willing to show a tiny that they need to accept help when they need it. I'm looking at you, Lily!
I'm really interested to see where Lily's story goes, by the way. Having a normal as a bully has to be a nightmare! That she's so willing to handle it herself is truly brave of her, and that's something I admire. I really hope things work out for her, but being a tiny pretty much living alone in a giant world that doesn't give a shit about you means things probably aren't looking so good for her. Maybe Olivia will keep having her back?
But yeah, back to Olivia. I think there's something more to her. That comment from Lola about knowing why Olivia cared so much about Allen even before hearing his story caught my attention. And the fact that she feels so strongly about Allen right from the start, before even getting to know him was interesting. Finding him passed out on the street like that triggered something in her.
Then there's her past with her friends. She says they never killed tinies, but they also weren't as "playful" as Lola. So what did she mean when she said they toyed with them? I feel like they may have been more cruel about it than Olivia let on. Maybe she did something she's ashamed of? Or perhaps she thought they were having harmless fun and became horrified when her friends took things too far? I feel like there's something there.
Kind of going along with that, I kind of suspect it's not a coincidence that she married somebody trying to help tinies with his engineering skills. I could see her being attracted to him wanting to help tinies after doing something she regrets. Or it could be that her husband helped show her that messing with tinies isn't cool and pulled her away from her friends who wanted to mess with them.
In any case, that motherly bond she's trying to establish with Allen is melting my fucking heart! And it's not just that she feels sorry for him, but she wants to be someone he can trust with his life! She wants to earn that from a tiny, despite most of this world not caring about them enough to not kill them for fun. That's a powerful thing.
So yeah, obviously I love this story! I look forward to reading the next chapter whenever you pick it back up!
Author's Response:
WOAAAAAAA thank you very much for the thorough review It Was Me!! It's truly an honor to have such feedback from you and it's a really really enjoyable read on itself!
I just want that gentle feeling to be earned instead of simply a whole story of gentle interaction, that is why I planted the first chapter to kickoff the whole plot.
With Lola, nowadays I'm more interested with a giantess who loves being playful and mischievous to the tinies instead of straight up violent or overtly gentle because makes it easy (to a certain extent) for me to get the best of both worlds with her, also makes it a fun self-imposed challenge in how far I could took the oblivious trait of hers while keeping it consistent with her own character.
Here's an interesting thing, Lily was a last minute addition that wasn't planned initially! At first I just simply wanted to give Olivia something to do in that chapter, but even I didn't expect to go that far with Lily.
Olivia is everything that I wanted from a giant milf basically, there's something special about motherly love by a giantess...
Thank you so much for this! Reading your review was such a blast, I'll do my best!

I don't know which giantess I like better! Okay, it's Lola. But holy shit, that last scene with Olivia was endearing as fuck. Poor Allen. His loss has been great, and he's gonna have trauma for a while. But fortunately he's got Olivia now. And Lola doesn't seem so bad.
Of course, I loved the thigh and brief mouth scene. But man, that was really sweet thing that Olivia did. Lots of good stuff in this chapter. Some memorably scenes for sure.
Author's Response:
Lola being Lola as always :D
meanwhile with Olivia I really wanted to feel the motherly love of a giant mom
