I think the outpouring of help to rescue Mateo, from humans and downsizers alike is really nice. Should humble him in the best way possible, different than the humbling he's been hit with so far with how some humans wanted to put him in his place because he's a lil guy now, like how Tricia, his mom and the principle treated him, but to see people he's helped and stuck his neck out for rallying around a rescue of him and Emma because of who he is and how much people care about him. Even Emma sticking her neck on the line for him to say she's dating someone she, it would be fair to say, loathes with the entirety of her two inch tall being.

Nice to see the mayor's back against the wall too, realizing he stepped in it kidnapping the son of a human DPS agent, and boy if Sofia got her hands on him...Pearson is playing with fire aggravating that Latina giantess. Also loved Charles looking fondly at the selfie he took with her and how much he's bonded with Sofia, and I can't blame him, that exotic older Latina MILF with the body of a supermodel is really enticing,  but I don't know if he realized just what he signed up for still, even with that scare he got last chapter. The less he knows about how she treated her ex the better. Just don't tell him about the microwave! At least he's on board for getting high on her breast milk though.

Though it seems the mayor won't go quietly, with the cliffhanger of someone grabbing and stopping Evie i'm assuming that's him sending some human agents under his command, scared he'll put up a bit more of a fight than anyone expects with his connections.

Loved seeing Tricia stroll through Lilliputian Lakes too, great to see the scale flipped with a human in a downsizers community cut off from the larger world, and you captured that wonderfully. Her really straddling the line between being a kind giantess with some of her cruel tendencies creeping out a little bit and her keeping herself in check is a great balance, and she really has come so far. Her scene with Nia was especially tender and heartwarming. Whether she ultimately is downsized or not, I do like where her character arc has led her, to the point of saving a ton of downsizer lives when she really didn't have to and DEFINITELY would not have done with where she was at the start of this story.

I need more Liam, Luna and Miguel too, the scene with Liam, Miguel and Evie was really hot this chapter though, and I really am glad Miguel is really reciprocating all Liam has done for him, and isn't afraid to be around him for sexy times anymore. I know M/m isn't the hotness, but I wouldn't mind seeing those two get more intimate as well.

Waiting with bated breath to see how this all pans out!

Author's Response:

That's a great point about everyone coming together to help Mateo. Larger evil forces are at play here, but it's true this was triggered by Mateo and Emma's disappearance.

Writing all the mayor stuff was difficult. But I hope it pays off once you read all three parts. He's not going down easily or quietly. I think he's in for a rude awakening with a giantess in his city, no matter how cunning he thinks he is.

Tricia walking in Lilliputian Lakes has been a highlight of me writing this story. Like you said, it's great seeing the perspective shifted like this. Like Sofia, her character transformation has been great to see. This Tricia that is saving everyone's life is unlike the Tricia from the beginning. I'm excited to see her helping downsizers for once.

Regarding Liam, Miguel, and Luna .... I wrote a scene with those three that might not make it into the story. Like you said, M/m is not the hotness here. But I might share what I wrote in my short story collection.

Thanks for your comment and I hope you enjoy this three part chapter. It took an insane amount of work to get it all down right.
