I really liked the original Downsizing: Redux story and I'm glad other authors are exploring different stories that universe.
I appreciate that Bella seems to feel guilty about what she did. I hope she takes Peter in and cares for him.
Looking forward to the next installment.
Author's Response:
Yeah, the original story was so fucking good! I'm glad a fan of that story is enjoying this one, too!
It does look like Bella feels guilty, doesn't it? It'll be curious to see what she does about that.
And you won't have to wait much longer to find out. I'll have the next chapter up pretty soon!

And another cliffhanger! Seriously though, nice to see there is SOME heart under all that monster. Here's hoping that things turn better after he reached the bottom of the barrel.
Still salty from the rug-pull on your other story btw*.
*"I totally wrote a gentle story, just let me do a cliffhanger ending that undoes everything I wrote. Teehee!"
Author's Response:
Funny, I don't remember teeheeing at the end of Roomies.
But seriously, I'm sure it'll come as no surprise to you that I strongly disagree with your assessment that the ending to that one "undoes everything I wrote." That ending (and what's going to come after it) was going to happen before I started writing the first chapter and is actually a part of what I've been building toward from the start. I mean, is the relationship between Duncan and Callie now somehow less valid because they're the same size and in a situation that looks bad at the moment? Clearly not. In fact, I'd argue that something like that can strengthen the bond two people share, and it certainly helps to have a significant other with you when things get tough.
So yeah, all that character work is still there and still relevant.
You know, given how you tend to react whenever things aren't bright and sunny in these stories (I've seen some of your reviews from others stories I've read too), I was more than a little surprised to see you reading Privileged at all. I mean, those initial tags for the story weren't exactly inviting to someone who seems to be looking more toward the gentler side of the fetish.
