I could write this on any of your story honestly. I made my first account in the 15 years I have been on this site to say this.
I love your stories. Possibly the best I've ever read. I recently came out as trans and it is so fucking refreshing to read a fic with some representation on this website. I.e. "Bug Brain" not this one.

A really well written story this. The level of cruelty especially is very believable and grounded.
Doesn’t sound like the greatest compliment but there are so many good size stories out there that don’t get this right, and you absolutely nailed it.
I hope Rodney does get out, if only because they’ve now got a very particular arrangement which I can see continuing. I’m imagining Michael grabbing a little lady as well for double trouble. Good stuff.
