Thanks for the review! I'm glad you like it - no, I'm not finished yet, I just prefer to write and publish it in parts (5-7 chapters at a time), since I feel like the story flows better if I update it in mini arcs.

The language was an experimental choice, and I thought it might help to make the world feel more foreign and create a deeper sense of alienation and vulnerability (feel a bit more vulnerable when people are talking about you and you have no idea what they're saying). I don't know if the experiment was a success, but that was the idea behind it anyway. I've tried to limit its usage to a maximum of 4% of any chapter text (and 2% average across the entire story), but if general consensus is that it's a bit annoying, I'll scale it back in future.
